please read my post this morning. Its a real event. when traveling on flat ground to test this, I witnessed it go from idle to 3k on it own for about two seconds time. It didn't change gears, I was not going down a slope, the floor mat was not contacting the accelerator.
I tested mine in 4 low manually as well as rock crawl mode and it definitely accelerates up to 3000. I let it roll a few times to see what the end game was, It only does this for about two seconds then idles back down.
Good morning,
I just spent the week in Moab. I am quite experienced with wheeling in Moab as I grew up close to there. ( 30 + years of back ground experience) I have a Badlands as well. Mine was doing the exact same thing. To me it seems like a glitch in engine mapping. I was on the rocks for...
Well,..... in a trunk you may actually be really stuck. In a Bronco you are not stuck. It would be very similar to sitting in the back seat of a two door unit. You shove the passenger seat forward, open the door and get out.
Truely the best plan by far.
Many people want the height and the look but I like the lower center of gravity with large tires. For a great example Google the Easter Jeep concept from 8 or 10 years back called the Jeep lower 40. It's ideal for offroad.
Only if you could adjust the front camera up a little higher for better "down range" view. I watched my camera till about 10mph and after that, its ridiculous. It seems like your flying right above the ground at 100 mph.
Best thing to do is disconnect the positive lead from the battery, put an amp meter between your positive post and the wire (disconnected) from that post. You should be able to measure that current draw. Then pull one fuse at a time. then reinstall it if the draw is still active. Go one by one...
Agreed, As you drive around wherever you go nowadays, it's caught on multiple cameras plus the people everywhere you go can take pictures of your plates any time they want.
