Ill keep everyone posted, i think everyone i know is sick of hearing me talk about this haha. I figure on here its a good heads up for people going through the same issue. Im definitely glad im getting a new transmission, it sounded way to loud to just have some parts thrown into it.
Parts finally came in after over 13 weeks, they took apart the transmission and it is worse than they thought. So now they have to order a transmission with no eta.
At this point i dont care about the d or c syncros, im at 13 weeks without my car. I just want to get it back and ill keep it if it makes the noise untill i see a true fix is out. I drove through the dealer parking lot and my car wasnt there and the app cant connect to it so maybe its finally...
I started a case with the ford corporate customer service number. They called my service advisor and the parts department. After that they told me there is no estimated dated for the part, all stuff i knew already. They upped the priority of my part on order and said id get emails whenever the...
They dont take it apart a head of time. Im guessing they don't want say the transmission is bad and give it back incase anything happens. Mine was pretty loud.
My parts priority level was upped by ford, i started a case with them.
They've covered the rentals, im on my 4th one i drive alot. They are sending the offer supposedly tomorrow, so well see. If the offer doesnt match the states lemon law i might just go that route.
This is very helpful. Fords is going to send me an offer to buy my back, but if they dont offer everything my states lemon law covers im going that route.
Yah this is the tuff part, minus my issues its a great car. I sold my gladiator to get this and now theyve gone up in price. I just dont feel good about this car it hasnt even had an oil change and its spend a lot of time at the dealer. Ill see what they say, idk what ill do.
