Factory tint IMO is like the lenses of gas station sunglasses compared to nice polarized Oakleys. They look ok from far away, but in the end, you wished you had something that looks better and does a better job when looking through them.
To answer your question, factory tint is usually 15%-20%...
As I’m sure you are aware @WCFord, a dealership 30 miles West is offering the same thing Kearny Mesa is. 0.4% below invoice plus $275.

Any idea when there will be an official announcement for a second change? Just got off the phone with customer care and he was unable to switch.
An error popped up on his side saying a dealer switch had already been made when he tried to push it through.
It’s inevitable that there will be delays in the manufacturing due to supply chain issues, specifically in 2020/2021 (Thanks a lot Corona). Though it is hard to believe that the number is 50%.
I’m expecting delays, but that many people being pushed into 2022 is a stretch imo.
I enjoy mine on the 4Runner. I’ve owned a lot of 4Runners and have had no rear window issues that I recall. I’ve become very accustomed to it and use it often. Now, would it have been nice on the Bronco? Sure. Will it bother me? Probably not.
