  1. Are Tie Rods really THAT big of an issue for Broncos?

Just upgraded the housing and bushing on mine with 14k miles. Took about 10-12 good whacks with a brass hammer to pop my tie rods loose. Brass is a softer metal but works. Just rethread the nut to protect the threads from said whacking.
  2. Are Tie Rods really THAT big of an issue for Broncos?

  6. 2022 Bronco Badlands Tailgate DAMAGED

54lbs i SAS tire/wheel weighs 90lbs. Add this thing and you're at 144lbs. @DV8offroad advertises "up to 37s". Ford says 140lb max? Those are engineers playing it safe. I see 37s with Rotopax and recovery boards on reinforced tailgates...no issues. Just look at the weight Justin McBride has...
  7. Read this before installing a tailgate reinforcement

I ordered the Rock Slide Engineering EZ rack for my spare tire through 4WP. They called me when it arrived at their store. Drove 45min to find out the box was opened and the ratchet strap was missing. I asked them if it was normal procedure to open "ship to store" boxes. Their response...
  8. Wifey's Cactus Grey OBX SAS build

I have the steering rack reinforcement and the bushing coming. Those will be installed soon as they arrive. I'm running the braces currently, lifted on 37s (Zone 3' spacer lift). Looking at coilovers to eventually replace. Obviously I'll ditch the braces if I upgrade and they don't clear the...
  9. Are Tie Rods really THAT big of an issue for Broncos?

I think he meant in the "current Bronco". 1 year wheeling in a 2 year old vehicle is qualification enough for me.
  10. Are Tie Rods really THAT big of an issue for Broncos?

yikes. I need to stop leaving the ground.......
  11. Wifey's Cactus Grey OBX SAS build

Very nice setup. Looking at your tierods, do you think the broncbuster braces will clear? I know the ICONs have to be installed backwards in addition to moving the sway bar back.
  12. I'm Sorry I Have to Vent and Ford You Won't Like This...

Wouldn’t surprise me. My BaseSquatch with the switches, HD bumper, and 2.7L increased in price three times while I was waiting for it to be built (Mar 21 - Apr 22). Luckily I was price protected @ $42k
  13. Another Bronco w/ Broken Tie Rod stranded and recovered

74 Weld makes a rack that blows away the HOSS 3.0 rack. $5k though for the entire thing or $3k if you send them the 3.0.
  14. Suggestions on suspension modifications to best run 37’s?

Finally a 2-door running Icons. I ordered the CDCVs for mine today. I’ve heard the clearance between the fronts and the tie rods is close. Did they fix that? And can I still use my Broncbuster tie rod braces? Beautiful rig BTW. 🔥
  15. Suggestions on suspension modifications to best run 37’s?

I have ridiculous dive with my zone 3” spacer lift on -12mm offset methods on 37s. Been looking at coilover options and settled for the icon CDCVs. The kings and foxes are super nice but the 6-8month wait isn’t. The icons are “in stock” allegedly. Hope they ship soon. I plan on the max...
  16. Lightning Blue First Edition on 37's, 17" Dirtylife beadlocks wheels, King Shocks

I went with the ICON CDCVs. The wait for Kings and Fox is way too long for me. These were bit cheaper as well.
