I understand. I really only have one question about these- I understand the glass is removable from the frame, but as far as you know how is the frame mounted to the hardtop? Glue? Hard fasteners?

Any idea if they will work with a regular painted mod top? I know the first heritage models had these removable windows, and then they just got standard windows after a Job 2 update or something. Question being, as long as you’ve got the opening in your 2-door painted mod top, will they snap...

Thanks! Yeah I definitely would check that box if I was getting a new one. Mine's a 22 I've had since new, but I really didn't start noticing the cracking until January of 25, at which point it was pretty bad and I was way past my factory warranty (think i had about 65k miles at the time)...

Yep, all of the 2-door painted tops have the hatch and are black on the inside.

Only 4-door painted mod tops are white on the inside. 2-door painted mod tops are black on the inside

Does anyone know if the 2 door and 4 door have the same part number for the front seat back cover? Obviously on the 2-Door it had to have a provision for the seat tilt handle in the top corner, but I wasn't sure if the seat manufacturer used the same part and cut it out for the handle or not. I...

Thanks! Yeah it started out as just wanting a painted replacement for my MIC hardtop that has some pretty decent surface cracking going on. Figured I might as well get the style I want!
