Please make Race Red available in base, please make locking differentials a stand alone option available on base. And honestly, I am expecting 25-30 MPG , there is no reason you can't make that happen with the 2.3 or 2.7.......especially with a granny gear+6 in the manual with 4 low to get all...
I am getting a 4 door base model, I would love to have a washout with vinyl option. I will probably end up relying on the aftermarket for that tho. I would also like a locker option....a hardtop, and I'm set.
I am going base 4 door with just a few options and am hoping to keep it under $35,000. Not gonna let bronco make me pay $45,000(or so) on a trim level just to have the option to get vinyl seats with a washout floor.....silly, that should be standard in the base! all aftermarket for me, thanks

But.....I was talking to a friend at a party about this and it turns out his brother is a ford mechanic.
His brother went out his way to get word back to me saying that he would highly suggest the 2.7...
If this economy keeps up, Ford will be begging me to take delivery. We may need to renagoiate the price in my favor when my bronco finally shows up. And Ford had better be prepared to offer me 0% financing for 72 months. Truth
I reserved a 4 door base model, will probably be bone stock except for lockers if possible, grey hardtop and maybe automatic. I'm using mine to haul my jon boat and trailer to the lake. I will also use it to navigate service and logging roads to get to hunting areas, I also expect the bronco to...
I reserved a base 4 door. Probably opt for lockers and a hardtop......maybe automatic. I want mine to ride nice and get decent mileage. In stock configuration I think it'll handle the off-roading I intend on doing. BTW anybody have a guess on milage numbers?
