Yes I am quoting myself
The TFL guys have the new Ranger at MOAB doing Fins & Things. They posted a video showing why the Ranger they had cost 45k+ and at the end they show it going up one of the more difficult obstacles on the trail. While this is not the new Bronco, it gives me...
I am sure most of you have already read this, but it answers my question as to where it fits.
Positioning:
Slotting below the Ford Expedition, the only remaining Ford SUV on a body-on-frame platform
In that way, the 2020 Bronco would effectively be taking the place of the Ford Explorer when...
The Jeep Wrangler which is the segment leader has sold ~198k Wranglers YTD. Do you expect the wrangler to sell better than that?
http://carsalesbase.com/us-car-sales-data/jeep/jeep-wrangler/
So you think Ford wants to make a $2000 option for a vehicle that is returning to market for ~27k...
According to this report from 2017 In the F150 V8 only accounted for 1/4 of the F150 sales. As much as we all want a V8 in the new Bronco I just don't see it happening. They are going to roll with the Ecoboost and I am ok with that...

I hope this is correct. If so only 40 days until we some serious information about the Bronco.
Thanks for the two articles, I had not seen the one from GearPatrol. I can see their point about two-track trails driving on the beach vs a Moab machine.
I would hope the new Bronco could at least make it through something like Fins & Things or Gemini Bridges in Moab. From his comments I...
Can you link me that article? I would love to read it.
I agree, the bronco needs to go head to head with the Wrangler. I own a new JL and have owned 3 other Wranglers since 2001 and I want a real competitor to it. The reason I am curious as to where it fits in its line up because once...
I am going to assume it will have some aluminum parts but nothing crazy right away. The Ranger will have aluminum hood, fenders and tailgate so we can expect to see that and maybe one other part of the Bronco that will be Aluminum to start. If it sells like gang busters then we might see alot...
Now that the LA Autoshow has come and gone, I was wondering when we might see some information about the Bronco. Am I expecting to much to get some solid information at the Detroit Auto show in January?
The Rangers will be at Dealers in early 2019 so there is nothing else to focus on but the...
I don't see any hints to the broncos of the past in the Troller so I am going to assume its not going to look like that. I am sure Ford is going to have some design cues from the original broncos in the G6. It has to look like it is a Bronco made in 2020, not a Geotracker made in 2020.
I see that the Explorer is front wheel drive so that is a huge difference in MPG and functionality. I agree with you in the fact that this has to have solid axes, manual and lockers, but I just don't see the need for the V8 in a mid size bronco. I would love that and It would make it stand out...
Been lurking here for a while and finally decided to register. I am about 80% sure I will be ordering one the day the order banks open, but I am just confused as to where this fits in Ford's line up.
To me a Bronco should only have 2 doors, but I would assume that is not going to be the...
