I have this light bar in a parts box somewhere because as you said, the ends flare out and leaves the adhesive susceptible to elements. I reported it to AVS and they didnāt seem to understand the issue, but they did send me a light āropeā that had the 5 lights stationary. I was a little...
I own the RTR Adjustable Tailgate Stop (bc Iām a big RTR fanboy) and itās fine / gets the job done. I didnāt know about the HB strut, which may be a more seamless mod. I say seamless bc you prob couldnāt tell a difference between it & OEM when opening/closing the door (other than less range)...
Still unresolved. Would like for it to be on so long as the engine is on. Already cut the ac adapter off so Iām dedicated to hardwiring it at this point.
Hoping someone can help me out!
Re: fuse box under steering column ā
I currently have (2) Micro2 fuse taps connected to #29 & #35 for my dash cam. I want to hardwire a fiber optic LED dash kit that would require a 5A or maybe 10A fuse. I donāt think I have an opening to do this on the left...
@Panzer948 wondering if you can help me out w/ a diff wiring situation.
I followed your wiring set-up, using fuses #29 & #35 for this dash cam. I now find myself needing another 5A spare fuse for the Oracle Lighting Fiber Optic LED Dash Kit, but donāt think I have a place for it.
I tried using...
Wiring Question:
Anybody have any tips / input for wiring the fuse tap to the red wire (with the 12v adapter removed)? Not sure what gauge the @ORACLE Lighting wire is, but itās much thinner than the 16 or 18 gauge fuse tap wireā¦having a hard time getting a crimp to keep the smaller wire...
Not sure if itās the same story for the 8ā display, but the 12ā display has a noticeable notch in the trim directly above the display. I ended up using foam tape & electrical tape to essentially āfill the voidā
Unfortunately, I could only get it in at the corners & crevice inside the steering well. Itās a super tight space because thereās 2 clips that are secured by plastic-welded bolts so you canāt pop anything out in this area and thereās a risk of breaking those if you go too hard.
None of my trim...
Any recommendations for fixing this sag @ORACLE Lighting ? There isnāt enough tightness to keep the strip from sagging over my 12ā display. Have tried pulling the end tight, but the problem persists.
Similar issue with the strip over the the instrument cluster. Too loose to stay in place.
@ORACLE Lighting howād you feed the strip below the driverās side vent? Instructions make it sound like itās no big deal, but after initially getting it wedged half an inchā¦it runs into a wall. Did you notch it in this area?
@AGSOFFROAD I also apologize for not wanting to go thru 17 pages ⦠can this be mounted on top of an existing tailgate reinforcement plate+ spare tire relocation bracket? (Iām thinking along the lines of Hammer Built or RC)
Literally, the most annoying thing about my Bronco @Ford Motor Company
Why bother with keeping the button around if itās going to regulate itself regardless of what the driver wants???
