No issues for the kick panel speakers. For the dash speakers, take your wire cutters and clip the screw mount ears in two locations opposite of one another to match the factory speaker layout placement. I used a standard pair of wire cutters for clipping without any issues. The speaker then fits...
the dummy amp and sub are basically the same as this ones that work, they are just missing the internal parts/electronics/speaker cone. However, all the speaker lines, etc are pre ran for you though.
Hi Steve, thanks for the comments!
I don't know specifically, but if the factory ran the wires you should be able to clip into them. I would look at your rollbar area first and see if you have speaker wire pre ran, otherwise you need to run some lines yourself. That would probably be a job I...
correct. I mounted the Kicker Key 500.1 amp where the factory amp was located. It doesn't fit in the same holes but in general it makes for a nice place to mount. Here's a pick.
I clipped the harness from the factory amp and used those existing speaker wires for the inputs to the new amp, plus used the existing remote wire to trigger turning on the amp. Then I taped up the existing power and ground line and ran the new bigger gauge hot wire to the battery.
True for the...
Thank you for your comments. Appreciate it!
I know what you mean. I'm 51 now and think the last time I made a sound system install was back in my late teens and early 20's.
Hate to hear so many people that upgraded to the B&O package did not get what they thought. the Kicker Key 200.4 amp has...
thank you for your comments. I didn't realize until your post that I forgot to mention that the FORScan program is a free download. I'll add that to my post, but here's the link to the free download. Thanks again for pointing that out!

Hell Yeah! you got it thumping by putting in that 12" sub. Glad to hear you went with the same amp and Kicker speakers, it's sometimes hard to believe what it use to sound like! Upgrading the sound system is must for the Bronco, especially riding around with the tope down!
Hi Rob, thank you for your comments. I will try and answer in the order you asked questions.
So the factory rear pod speakers worked, and the factory sub worked. The FORScan setting was factory set to [1A] for the first two digits in the second group box, which stood for Speaker/Tweeter ...
2023 Bronco Total Speaker Upgrade Notes
As so many have indicated, the factory speakers that come with the Bronco are crap! My 2023 arrived last month and I instantly started researching how to replace and upgrade my sound system. I did not upgrade the sound system to the B&O package in my...
Hi Tony, no need for aux switches as the coiled lines they provide just hook to the battery terminal for hot (red) and the black you ground to an existing spot. There are a couple spots that the factory used that you'll see close to the battery. What's really cool about these is it comes with a...
from all the research I did along with considering price these are the ones I went with and like I mentioned, very plug n play and simple to install
