  2. Check engine light flashing - Cylinder 6 low compression

Bronco is currently at the dealer waiting to be further evaluated by Ford. My favorite independent shop already ran a few test and ruled out plugs and coils for the misfire codes. They did the compression test and verified low compression on C6. Anyone else have experience here? fwiw - called...

  8. Front Diff is Toasted

Just had my front diff replaced right before Christmas. Identified the front pinion leak and had that fixed earlier in the year. I'm assuming when the leak was fixed the front dif was not installed with correct spacing. My bearings and gears started howling a few months later, maybe 20k miles...
  9. With 4A, what do I need 4H for?

I typically notice it when cornering. It feel like the front end is pulling the vehicle more than passively steering.
  10. With 4A, what do I need 4H for?

By traction gain I just mean that the front wheels engage when the computer decides adding to your traction and that is not something that can be really anticipated.
  11. With 4A, what do I need 4H for?

I'll just add, since this seems to have evolved into a more technical discussion of how 4A works vs 4H - I like to use 4H off road because it is more predictable when driving on varying surfaces at speed. 4A can lead to unanticipated traction gains and losses.

  14. Update: fixed today! - I needed to vent about my Bronco, feel free to ignore this post if you love yours ✌️

I feel this pretty intensely right now. My 23 bronco had the pinion seal leak fixed a few thousand miles ago. I dropped it off at the shop last week and just found out the entire front diff is getting replaced because of a failure no one wants to actually describe in detail. Similar to others...

  16. Rear Differential needing replacement. I have been waiting since Sept. 9.

Very interesting thank you for that. I've got a rattle/griding/metal on metal noise coming from the front end as well. You can hear it coming off of buildings while driving by windows up or down. I'm expecting to get this fixed and ditch the vehicle.....seems like ford has just missed the mark...
  17. Rear Differential needing replacement. I have been waiting since Sept. 9.

Keeping tabs on this and sorry for your experience . I'm taking my 23 in next week for a pretty loud driveline whine that is exceedingly loud. The front diff pinion seal was replaced a while back but I've definitely got something jacked up. What was your first indication you had a driveline issue?
  18. Do (mostly) no issues Broncos exist?

i just stumbled across this, i have a very loud whining sound that i'm going to have looked at next week by ford. Can you send me any information you have? I had the front pinion seal replaced already about 10k miles ago (or less) and i think they didnt properly install everything. The whining...
