  1. Bronc69

    Broncos of Pennsylvania

I just found this group. Been on the forum for a while. I'm located in Chester Springs. I have a 2023 WT that is highly modified and looking for someone to go off-roading with (new to off-roading). Mods are: Bilstein 8112 APG Upper Control Arms Next Venture Aluminum Skids 74 Weld Steering Rack...
  2. World Ugliest 6G? You tell me.

I feel sad for you that this is the take you have regarding females. GL finding a much better one. I know from personal experience that there are people out there that are just batsh!t crazy. You think they're okay and more down to earth, until you get to know them better and that's when...
  3. World Ugliest 6G? You tell me.

I voted no as it's just a color and accent change. If there's a girl driving it, no problem at all. It works well. I would vote for any Bronco with 20"+ wheels with major poke. I guess they're worried about running over the hedges in their driveway LOL.
  4. Traded my C8 Z06 Corvette in for new Raptor

I was in a "similar" situation before I got my Bronco. I had a highly modified 2015 GTI that was an absolute blast. It had over 400hp, weighed just under 3000lbs. and had an epic suspension setup. Then, I got my 2017 911C2. It was way beyond anything the GTI could do right out of the box...
  5. Running 89 octane

You're safe using any of these brands. I'll run 87 all the time and have had zero issues. The retailers will change on the list. The manufacturers run tests on the fuels to make sure they comply with the top tier criteria. https://www.toptiergas.com/
  6. Running 89 octane

I run Top Tier 87 in my 2.7 all the time. Zero issues. TBH, it's not the octane that's the issue, it's the additives that keep your engine running cleaner. I've run Top Tier fuels in all my cars since I found out about them. I keep cars a LONG time and have had zero fueling issues with any of my...
  7. What did you drive before getting your Bronco?

Restore it or restomod it! Do an LS swap with a modern trans, rebuild the rears/suspension and leave the patina.
  8. What did you drive before getting your Bronco?

Previous car (that I sold to get the Bronco) was a 2015 GTI. Highly modified and a blast to drive. It overlapped with my 2017 911, so I picked the polar opposite of the 911 and got the Bronco. Yes, I still have the 911.
  9. $35k+ in mods - Complete Badlands Sasquatch Build List w/ Photos

That is a BADA$$ build! Love it! Mine is similar, only I stuck with 35" and did the 8112 and a 74 Weld billet rack. I also have the APG upper control arms and did the full Next Venture aluminum skids (literally in transit now).
  10. The BEST Suspension is HERE: Bilstein 8112 DSA+ for Ford Bronco!

I got the 8112 installed along with the APG upper control arms. Plus, the Johnny Joint lower links (APG said I wouldn't need the uppers), 74 Weld steering rack and the Next Venture rear diff cover and skid plate for the rear diff (I have the aluminum full skids on order). I have them on for...
  11. Let's see the stablemates!!!

The things dreams are made of! EPIC build. Love it! Hope you enjoy it often.
  12. Let's see the stablemates!!!

Did you hear my jaw hit the floor? Epic build! Love it. Details please...... I tell everyone, my 911 is the polar opposite of my Bronco. You're at that end of the spectrum too with a BRaptor and a 997 GT3.
  13. RTR Carrier Rusting and Hi-Lift Jack Braket issues

Yes. Mine was a bit older and I can see that there is a difference in the design from my original. Still shouldn't be rusting this quickly. I'm keeping an eye on my RTR rear bumper too. So far, so good. I have a set of RCI rock sliders that were installed at the exact same time. The coating is...
  14. Let's see the stablemates!!!

    My 2017 911 C2. 7-speed manual with lots of modifications. Wife's 2022 X3
  15. RTR Carrier Rusting and Hi-Lift Jack Braket issues

I too had the exact same issue, only yours looks a lot better than mine did. They said mine was a very early version and that they had issues with the coating. I installed a new one with no issues so far. Went through the winter here in PA.
  16. An explanation of why to disable Auto Stop Start

Makes me feel better about disabling it. My wife's X3 has it as well, except when you put it into Sport mode, which is how I drive it always. Same thing for my 911 (which is manual). Very weird to have the engine shutoff and have to start up before I leave the clutch out. Always in Sport +...
  17. An explanation of why to disable Auto Stop Start

It is now just a part of my normal start-up procedure to disable it. I don't like the stopping and starting over and over again. I know the system is designed for it, but it just seems to be a waste. I don't want to deal with battery or starter issues just to "save" a few pennies in fuel.
  18. The BEST Suspension is HERE: Bilstein 8112 DSA+ for Ford Bronco!

Are you running them wide open on the road to get the ride really soft or are you still playing with the settings?
  19. 2025 Suspension Recommendations (by Snacktime)

Good read. Pretty clear how unsprung weigh can affect the driving characteristics of a vehicle. https://www.cjponyparts.com/resources/sprung-vs-unsprung-weight?srsltid=AfmBOopbhxQ8UKD4Wra-PvNajhZmCeHBp8GSn-kPVjVquioueTnXkW_D
  20. The BEST Suspension is HERE: Bilstein 8112 DSA+ for Ford Bronco!

That is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm really looking for more control. At this point in my life, I just don't mess around trying to get what I'm looking for with less than optimal parts. I spent a ton of time developing a BMW 330 for track use and the end result was stellar (I ended up...
