True story, I've seen some videos where the Rapid Red looks orange.

well there it is, our infant seat was like that, but when we had to get a bigger seat as she got past the infant stage we lost that functionality.

Been waffling myself between Base Sas and non Sas BD, thinking the wife would like to have the mid package, but then I remember she will probably never ride in it since her vehicle is the family cruiser.

I would lose my mind if I had to deal with that. A newborn would be easy because they are already in the seat, but I don't know how you'd buckle in a rear facing 18 month old without climbing in the back seat with them to do it.

It may have only been in the official Ford video for the protectors, it should be on Ford's youtube channel 44 second mark, but it looks like it may be to protect the edge of the door and door frame more than anything.

The door removal tutorials I've seen says to put in these rubber protectors on the edge of the door and door frame when removing. Maybe during all the demonstrations the pre production models have gone through they weren't used every time and caused the dent?
