I might suggest the term "adventure touring" in place of overlanding. It's a term used in the in the motorcycle community to describe the two wheeled similarity to overlanding.

No pictures (old guy), but... Wouxun kg-1000, 50W radio with removeable control head is mounted under the driver side dash. Not easy job for an OFBG, but there's lots of room there. You could easily stack 2 radio bodies in that location. Control head and mic mounted overhead above drivers sun...
I have manual seats with marine grade vinyl also. The driver seat recline angle is limited with the rear seat folded and driver seat all the way back, but I'm betting you've already checked that?
Went out today to check my '23 two door Badlands. CarGuy is correct. The seat goes all the way back to the seat rail hard stop with a little compression of the folded rear seat base. Much ado obout nuthin!
