I feel like this just wouldnāt work with a manual. Maybe, but I canāt imagine it. I hate that feature with the heat of a thousand suns. Please let them leave it off manuals...
Iām not convinced it would work like that. We have to place orders in December. Now, with an order in hand, if Ford canāt deliver all of them as 2021s, I would like to think that they would honor the same pricing and just deliver a 2022.
Particularly if an additional deposit is put down, which...
Thatās what I was planning. 32 or 33 on base. I think thatās about as big as you can go with the stock axle anyway. But I want a locker and have no idea what that would cost aftermarket.
There is no reason you canāt slap, say, 32s on the 16ā steelies on the base, is there? Aside from dealing with changing the speedo gear or whatever you have to do to fix that (is that still not an easy programming change?)
You can get aftermarket wheels and tires of your choice for considerably less, though. Iāve tried to justify it because I want the factory locker, but itās tough to pay more primarily for the right to buy more stuff.
I really am not looking to troll anyone or disparage anybodyās choices, Iām just wondering if Iām completely missing something.
It seems to me that for 4400 bucks above the base, what youāre really buying is the right to buy more stuff that you canāt get on the base, like a locker, like the mid...
Really good point about vinyl seats. Wasnāt thinking about that. Iām in Palm Beach County and swore off leather, I dont know how I didnāt connect that thinking to vinyl.
Iām not convinced a winch is a waste, if only because if Iām alone a tow strapās not gonna get me out anything. On the other...
Thanks so much for all the info everyone - I really appreciate it. if the locker is available on BB then maybe Iāll look at that. Of course, I have had a hard time justifying the Big Bend other than the ability to get additional options. In and of itself it doesnāt seem like a great value, And...
So, I am not a professional off road dude. I did grow up spending a lot of time driving jeeps and 4WD vehicles off road, on beaches etc. Iāve had a Wrangler or two and Iāve done a lot of deep sand and minor off-road things. I have zero experience rock crawling. Except on a motorcycle, and thatās...
More on Mullinax - and I'm guessing this is corporate policy - in addition to MSRP, X-Plan (and a and z and whatever else), and no dealer fees, there are no doc fees (plate transfers are done at DMV cost I believe), and no forced dealer installed accessories, especially when the vehicle is...
