If that’s true then my dealership is paying the penalty for at least three vehicles ... my Raptor, my sons xlt and my fathers Ranger all have Ford Connect and the dealership never connected it - I use it on my truck and my son does in his, connected days after purchase, but my 81 year old dad...
Personally I actually do agree that the 4-door looks better and I don't think there is much debate that it will handle better in most circumstances. I honestly don't care what badge they put on it - if it is somehow an insult to refer to the 4 door as a 'Bronco' then so-be-it . . . I am getting...
Yeah I also had a keep for a loaner for a month when the timing phasers were being replaced on my Raptor. A 4 door overland and it absolutely sucked. The ride and handling was a nightmare and was right inside. I’d never own one after that experience ... my hope is that Ford motives on those...
Will do our research for sure. At the end of the day I will actually still order the Bronco. If it shows up and it's not going to work I can always walk away!!
I did check it out - and outside of a couple miniscule differences it is the same as the Ranger . . . I reserved the Wildtrak 4 door so I compared the Ranger to the Bronco 4 door hard top.
Depressed.
Well that is good to know . . . looks like I will be cancelling my order. I am not sure why - even though it was clearly stated that it was built on the Ranger platform - but I was under the impression that it was wider in the cabin and had more shoulder room . . . my father has a new Ranger...
And ... my dealer is 100% sure the leather in all trims (4 door) is power and will ensure that is the case before I order. It’s a major issue if not ...
Apparently that’s a glitch on the build and peice - of not then it makes it an easy decision because the navy power/Gray leather would be my preferred interior so I’ll go OBX with all the options mentioned above and still below my goal of under 60k.
I agree on the carpet. I’ll also add the floor liners - do like the idea of the washout floor but will need the tube steps which are unavailable on badlands. And want power seats - actually would go with the MGV if offered in OBX or WT and powered.
I reserved the Wildtrak 4 door. I’ve looked at every other model and can only get everything I want on the WT or an optioned up OBX -
2.7
Sasquatch
MIC Roof
Sound deadening
Tube Steps
Leather power seating
Lux (and outside of the garage door opener I want everything the High and Lux packages...
I’ve had 4 different Raptors on 35s for over a decade - live in VT, 30 miles away from my work (where I sometimes am on call to plow city streets) and drive to work in all conditions - never an issue with the tires in the snow.
BUT - with the Wildtrak, which has the SAS pkg, you can add it with no issue . . . just a bug I have to imagine. I hope so because if I don't go with the WT - which I have reserved - I do want the sound deadening.
I completely agree and echo your statement. I have been driving Raptors since they came out, always on 35's. GEN 1 was a great ride and improved from 2009 to 2010 to 2012 . . . then I got into the GEN 2, 2017, and it is phenomenal. If the Bronco is anything similar - which I am banking on -...
