I believe the Ford top is twill, but you can get the Bestop version as an accessory and there is a choice of the standard or twill textile.
I could be wrong, but that's my guess.
If I ever end up getting some, I will be going with Rotopax and mounting to the roof via roof rack. Also, Trailrax confirmed with me over email that they are working on one of these for the Bronco. I am considering that as well, but I won't go with it if it requires drilling into the hardtop.
Are the floorpans aluminum? If so, I am not as concerned. If they're not, then this kind of stinks. It could be a very big problem in any high humidity states.
I ripped the carpet out of my Jeep years ago and it didn't go back in until I sold it. Not sure how removable the rubber liner is, but...
I drove the 2.7L in a four door Wildtrak (so standard Sasquatch) and it was amazing and I had an absolute blast driving it. More than enough power to push that beast around.
Last week I drove the 2.3L with an auto in four door Badlands on 33’s and was extremely impressed, but it wasn’t quite as...
Well the color looks great! I definitely don’t have the juevos to have my brand new Bronco custom painted or I would have ordered white and swapped over to Grabber Blue!
Is there a heavier green tint than normal Cactus Gray? I actually like Toyota’s Lunar Rock better because they have more...
Well, as someone that sells software for a living, I can tell you Ford is trying to improve. How quickly some of the things they have purchased will get implemented across all teams and start to benefit us is to be determined, but they are trying.
Won’t say it isn’t infuriating though!
If you want to do it for durability and plan on getting the seats wet on occasion, I would go to someone that does boat seats and see if they need to replace the foam or anything else underneath to prevent rot.
If you are just doing it because you like the MGV textile, then don’t worry about...
I am currently trying to figure out how to keep both!!
The thought behind the Tacoma was, "what can I buy now, that I won't hate if life happens and I can't get a Bronco?" The Tacoma is absolutely fantastic and it has outperformed my expectations both on and off road. I see why everyone is such...
Luckily Toyota Tacoma's have the best resale value of any other vehicle in North America for the last 10 years or so. I got a good deal on mine for normal circumstances, and an incredible deal for covid, back in June and sold my Wrangler for well over what it would be worth in normal...
Got bored today so I figured I would run to a local dealer to check out their mannequin. I am currently driving a 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro in Lunar Rock and loving every second of it. I picked it up in June when it seemed apparent my Two Door Cactus Gray Badlands Sasquatch with the 2.7L and Lux...
Figured it was time to add the new colors for 2022!
Sorry @MontyMoose I forgot Lightning Blue. I added it with the rest of the 2022 colors if you would like to select it now.
Stopped by a local dealer for another test drive and to see Cyber Orange in the sun. Wasn't disappointed!
I don't have great full body pics because I was mostly there to compare Cyber Orange with my Lunar Rock Tacoma, but figured I would post anyways!
Current plan is to swap to Cyber Orange...
