    I understand the point - I just don't see them penalizing the dealerships like this unless I see the evidence.... sounds like a marketing point. They (Ford) are already shady with the allocations (seems like they are taking care of stock anyway) Our reservations are confirmed by a time and date...

    not buying it... no way there is not a clause that the dealership can purchase the vehicle in the same way they do stock on a confirmed reservation that backs out. Thus not making any change to the Ford bottom line. On any of them that they would want to "return" - ok maybe but that won't happen...

    and that's the real catch... jobs, family, circumstances (you know life) can change a lot in 6 -8 months. I would understand a custom order that would sit on the lot for months requiring s non-refundable deposit... ok Not on a vehicle they will have offers on within days or even hours BIG...

    Sent an email to Mahwah dealer a few days ago outlining what we are seeing from Brewster etc (even gave them the link to this thread and told them to look at page 1) and told them I wanted to give them an opportunity to keep my business and bring in 20+ people So far........

    worth the $100 if you live in a cold area (ever gets below 5 F) in fact more cars should have them. Prevents engine damage and extends the life.
