HUH?
1. Have you ever actually driven a Jeep Wrangler?
19MPH would be very efficient v a Jeep.
Remember that the four door is a very heavy vehicle that is just on the limit of its weight class. I expect my 2-Door with the 4 cylinder and 30s will do 3-4MPH better. Which would be awesome and...
1. We will all get a decent understanding, and certainly if we "made it" for '21 and the option to change something to move up the timing, is my understanding.
2. Mr. Levine on twitter has established that "By May" means the end of May. Also, "year not specified", but I assume May means May 2021.
OR... maybe they can simply make MORE vehicles in '21 than they thought. Maybe it is a ZERO week difference, rather than a 2-week difference because they now think they can start two weeks earlier.
Maybe I am lucky, but I communicate with my Dealer Sales Guy on a regular basis and he is totally transparent and in 100% agreement with Ford communications.
I am referring to the expectations Ford set when I finalized my order.
Crazy to hold them to a ridiculous standard based estimates from almost a year ago because of COVID, the fact that there likely has been outbreaks in a supplier plant and the chip shortage.
Try getting an order in for ANY...
I reserved a Base Bronco on July 14 (picture attached).
I have been told for weeks (months?) that:
1. FE would get preference, as they should. They are paying DOUBLE the cost of my build.
2. Demo/Test Drive builds would be also be made first.
3. I would get an estimate by MAY on the timing of...
Leasing makes sense in many cases.
If you take care of the vehicle reasonably well, it is worth it.
I am leasing a AWD Escape for $230/month for 2 years and all the maintenance on that vehicle is covered. That is a ridiculously low price.
These people will also pass me on the right, without giving me 2 seconds pull to the right lane, and then I will catch up with them at the next light.... or will pass them as they get pulled over by the cops.
My Dealer Email to me this week:
1. Everyone will have been contacted by May.
2. Scheduling for FCTP Test Drive Vehicles are in process.
3. First Edition's also being scheduled.
This is EXACTLY what I expected based on prior communications.
Excellent, transparent communication from my dealer.
Nope. My commitment is $100 refundable. No further commitment. I get to test drive my Bronco, then I will buy. That is fair. My dealer trust me and I trust my dealer. That is the way it should be.
Also, it is very hard to "sell" a brand new Bronco. It will depreciate immediately. You lose taxes...
Yep, real Broncos like this Base model want to be outside, in the elements, and not in some heated garage "cool kids" country club.
I bet base broncos actually make it more trails than the upper level trims.
