To answer your question. Changing doesnāt restart it. There are tons of people on here that have experienced changing orders and getting a quick build date afterward.
For me, I didnāt compromise on things I didnāt want to mess with like the tech stuff or if you want a hard top, but something...
Iām not getting anything from my dealer, she sounded almost like she didnāt believe I had a build week š¤·š»āāļø
Is Ford working tomorrow on Presidentās Day? I want to call our friends over there again and see if I can get my date.
I have not received them yet, so I canāt speak to quality, but this is the spot that I ordered mine from: https://www.theocdplug.com/shop/p/bronco-12-h9zt9
Donāt want to freak you out, but I have seen a few people on here have their Bronco go missing or get damaged during shipment. I would wait until you actually take possession.
Adding to that, a bunch of dealers still pulling crap on people, so I would wait.
I spent a couple hours on hold with ford today (long story). No build date yet, but the good news is that Iām able to stay in this group! No bump.
OBX /4 door / 2.3 / high / no SAS No tow
Between allocation questions and different commodity limitations, no one knows the answer. A lot of the soft tops with no tow (like me) have been getting scheduled (not built) within a couple of months. Plan on getting more information from this group than Ford or your dealer.
At the same...
I have seen a lot of guys getting build dates 2-3 months after their orders (some even faster) if they have soft top without tow. Also, donāt add anything that can be added later like floor mats, PPF, or door bags.
Keep in mind it will take time after that to build and ship, but Iām thinking...
You were probably scheduled with a bunch of us on 2/28, but now we were moved here. I never got anything from them either until the push-back email.
Either way, you can now enjoy a new type of waiting

I found it really hard to finalize my choice. It is especially hard since the dealers don't have any to see in person (they had black and race red, which were both not options for me). I love the OBX with Velocity Blue because the inside coordinates so well with the blue accents.
I agree, I watched some for sale on eBay, most of them never reached the reserve price and were just relisted. Just because you see them for sale $20k above asking, doesn't mean that they are selling.
