Good point, definitely steer clear of anything suspiciously cheap. I think the Ender 3 is kind of the gold standard for acceptable bottom of the barrel entry point. If its cheaper than an ender 3, its probably trash. Some love it some hate it, but its undeniably extremely prolific and widely...

The only thing you'll regret about buying a 3D printer, is not having bought one sooner lol. I use Fusion 360 now, was a fan of SolidWorks too back when I used it for work. But Fusion is as simple and intuitive as it gets, and you might be able to get a student license.

This is sick! I always thought the base should have a badge like "Base Camp" and it could be a tent with a mountain behind it or something. But I love this!

We could make something that works by sticking onto the lugs I think. Main issue is figuring out the sweep profile needed for everything to fit. For something like this, I would start with a side profile that would be revolved around an axis. We need to figure out what that profile needs to be...
  7. 🚨 4Runner Official Debut - Info, Specs, Pics, Videos + First Look Reviews

I get the sentiment, I think most of the hate is about the visuals. A couple challenges though, I think Bronco sales will slow, but not just because of the new 4Runner. Toyota will sell 4Runners as fast as they can make them, whether they are 5th gen or 6th gen. The Bronco is just not the hot...
  8. 🚨 4Runner Official Debut - Info, Specs, Pics, Videos + First Look Reviews

Underrated Take. I cant not see this every time I look at my 87 F-250. The front end is so clean. If you place the hood at the same level as a modern superduty, whole bumper and grill will fit in the space used for the grill on the superduty. I get needing some extra cooling, and fuel economy...

New proposal: Toyota 1VD-FTV 4.5L V8 D Engine Specs, Problems, Reliability, oil - In-Depth Review (motorreviewer.com) I am not a Toyota shill, but they hit more than they miss. I dont know how I never heard about this engine before, but to be fair I never really was interested in the Toyota...
  10. 📸 2025 4Runner Leaked: New Competition Revealed

I think the side view is a bit too busy, especially the belt line. but toyota has doubled down on the angular styling so i'm not surprised. I really like the high glass, almost safari top rear window, and the high angle C pillar. But overall, meh. I think the Land Cruiser looks better...
  11. Bronco featured in new Ford ad "Starting Line"

the land rover developed 3.0 was just not a great platform to start with. Reflects more on the lion engine legacy than Ford IMO. We'll see how the updated 3.0 fairs in the Australia market. But it will never make it to the US. Feds are determined to kill diesel ICE asap. only reason they aren't...

  14. Homemade Diff Drop for 6G Bronco

Update: Regarding customization of the skidplate. The OEM badlands skid plate has only 4 bolts holding it in, In these photos, you may notice that there are 5, and later the bolt which used the OEM diff bracket was removed. This middle bolt is using an otherwise unused weldnut available right...

  16. Michigan Want to Buy 2 Door rear seats. Preferably Badlands and/or MGV

Hey Valhalla, reviving an older message here. I just started looking at seats again and figured I'd check if you were still interested in selling and what you would part with them for? I found a set on eBay for $200 bucks but they are not badlands MGV which I would prefer and would pay more...

  18. LOBO OFF-ROAD STAGE X FRONT SUSPENSION KIT

Thanks for the response, I respect It. I think this portion of the response is directed towards me. I dont think that this would be "flopping around" with a loss of tie rod, but given that a virtual pivot still is kinematically different from a "real" pivot, there is a very real concern about...

  20. LOBO OFF-ROAD STAGE X FRONT SUSPENSION KIT

I didnt mean that the tires can impact the king pin axis (they cant) but that the intersection of the kingpin axis to the tire contact patch (defining scrub radius) is a factor of both the tire diameter as well as offset (wheel/portal or otherwise).
