  1. Official: Scout EV SUV & Pickup debut w/ Gas Range Extender, 4x4, BOF, Lockers, Sway Bar Disconnect -- All Specs, Wallpapers, Videos

Check out Achates Power, it's not a new concept, but Achates Power has a "new" take on it. Not whats going into the Scout, but it would be an awesome choice if they could, especially a diesel lol (never gonna happen)
  2. Official: Scout EV SUV & Pickup debut w/ Gas Range Extender, 4x4, BOF, Lockers, Sway Bar Disconnect -- All Specs, Wallpapers, Videos

Pretty sure that is referring to build quality on initial impressions, which was not a strong suit of China exports before. No-one is expecting the Xiaomi to put down big miles, will probably make Tesla look like a 90's corolla by comparison. I know Fords warranty metrics aren't great but they...
  3. Homemade Diff Drop for 6G Bronco

Interesting, I guess whatever the case if you get a new diff double check the rear bolt size. I wouldn't be surprised if both versions are floating around after a design change.
  4. Homemade Diff Drop for 6G Bronco

FYI, I heard from another that the ford performance M210 actually uses the M14 bolts at the rear section, like the M190 kit. Everything else is the same. OEM M210 = M12 +collar, OEM M190/FP 210 = M14 + dowel
  5. Homemade Diff Drop for 6G Bronco

Or a link to the riv-nuts you used or recommend. I can pull some measurements myself
  6. Homemade Diff Drop for 6G Bronco

Awesome work! What size hole did you need for the riv-nut? I know you aren't the only guy who wrapped the skids around it, I think someone else just directly tapped a hole in the steel. I may make that an option for folks who want to do something like this. Easy enough to add the hole from the...
  7. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

Jet engines can also be used to generate shaft power, helicopter or even a high budget tractor at the tractor pulls. Give it a gearbox and the power shows. But to keep it simple and between piston engines, the torque you feel early on is just power coming on early, at low RPM. An engine that...
  8. Post your 2.3L Bronco Ford Performance Calibration Tune review

The sentiment is correct but it's still power that matters. Torque just tells you the type of power that you have. Torque means nothing unless its moving, and if it's moving it's power by definition. Big rigs have high torque at low speed, which just means they have high power at low speed...
  9. Front diff mount play

My understanding from a cursory read over here is the OP is talking about excessive motion in the rubber bushings. (Particularly the passenger side) Something to check on the driver side though, regardless of whether or not the bolt is tight (and this goes for the OEM bracket, or my diff drop)...
  10. 2018-2021 FORD 3.0L V6 Power Stroke DIESEL SWAP ?

The 3.0 is designed by Ford, it originated from an engine family designed by Ford of Europe back in the JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) days when they were a subsidiary of Ford. Ford AJD-V6/PSA DT17 - Wikipedia When Ford (North America) was looking to bring a diesel F-150 to market, it was a lot more...
  11. Show me your 3D printed accessories. 3D Prints for Bronco Enthusiasts.

For these exact wheels? Or another Black Rhino wheel with the exact same 3 bolt pattern? Some Black Rhinos are different. Just want to make sure beforehand. PM and we can check details.
  12. 5/14/2026 Update - Bronco Raptor Megazilla Godzilla 7.3L V8 Conversion

Its more true the bigger you go too. When I was a kid I used to wonder why these giant tractors "only" had a few hundred horsepower when so many sports cars had more. But a 500hp tractor is meant to work at 500hp forever, not just for 10 seconds on the on ramp. So it needs to be able to produce...
  13. 5/14/2026 Update - Bronco Raptor Megazilla Godzilla 7.3L V8 Conversion

In the work truck/commercial segment low specific power is very beneficial. People usually think its the longevity, sure that's part of it, but its more about the brake specific fuel consumption. That engine is expected to have a high-power duty cycle and if the job demands relatively high power...
  14. 5/14/2026 Update - Bronco Raptor Megazilla Godzilla 7.3L V8 Conversion

6.7 Power stroke! (I don't care how many wheel bearings I have to replace lol). But of those options i'd probably lean towards the 7.3 over the 5.0 for the type of wheeling I like but could go either way. Predator is too rich for my blood lol, no way it doesn't cost way more, but i'd love it.
  15. 5/14/2026 Update - Bronco Raptor Megazilla Godzilla 7.3L V8 Conversion

This. It's very frustrating because it is utterly insurmountable for any individual enthusiasts and hobbyists. But is rather trivial (in strategy, not in time labor) for professional grade shops to handle, since they'll get a return on the huge amount of forward investment. Very happy to see...
  16. Michigan 74 Weld Billet Stage 2/Hoss 2.0 Steering Rack

Stage 2/Hoss 2.0 74Weld Billet Rack: $3600 OBO. I converted my stock Hoss 2.0 steering rack with the 74Weld billet housing. Installed for a test drive and confirmed to work. I wound up with a second converted rack for a special project, can share details if you are curious but I only need one...
  17. Eibach Pro Truck Coilover 2.0 -- articulation videos

Edit: Those aren't treps, but look very similar! I've seen a few crosswinds out there, not many, but more than the treps. How are you liking the Trepadors? Dont see many others with them. I love mine! Might go a bit more mild on my next set, but have loved the performance in mud and rocks.
  18. Rockymounts BackStage 2: Initial Thoughts

If you wanted to do a light version of these modifications I would recommend drilling a new hole in the hitch extender (you can probably get it 1" further into the receiver than the stock hole allows. And if you have access to a welder or buddy with a welder, I would recommend ramping the rear...
  19. Rockymounts BackStage 2: Initial Thoughts

I still love it, used it for over about a year in totally stock form. I dont have any complaints for the rack, it does what it says on the tin. I think it's a no brainer to have the swing arm integrated to the rack as one unit to keep the length to a minimum. It is a bit tedious to open but...
