  1. My 2021 Outer Banks Build (WITH LINKS)... so far

I once had some falken tires that were impossible to balance. I'd have them balanced then drive 10 miles and they were back to shaking. Turns out they had inconsistent sidewalls( the rubber was thicker/ thinner in spots ) had to change them for a different brand. Hopefully that's not you...
  2. ADM - It won't stop

The feds raising the interest rates will only affect those consumers that are only putting minimum $ down and financing for 84mos. Most are payment buyers, along as the monthly payment fits into their budget, they could care less about a 1/4 point rate increase. If the payment is too high at 60...
  3. Inexpensive sub recommendation

I have the Rockford fosgate ps-8 under the passenger seat of my tacoma. I'm going to move it to Bronco when it finally arrives
  4. Order a new Toyota Tacoma, it's an eerily similar experience. (And, no, I did not.)

When I looked into ordering another tacoma. It wasn't like the Bronco. The salesman basically said it's broad strokes on what you want. A double cab 4wd w/V6, then pick 3 colors. They will contact you if the dealership receives a truck inside those parameters ( it could be a SR5, TRD...
  5. Ford says Maverick “orders are scheduled in the order in which they are received, regardless of dealer”

AND the order can be scheduled within existing supply and optional features/package availability.”” Still has the caveat of constrained items pushing you build back. Unless you change your build.
  6. Bronco Arrived...Dealer wants $15K over MSRP

I'm sorry I didn't realize ford doesn't sell in volume. I'm sure that's why these broncos take so long. Due to the time that one individual spends crafting every piece lik a fine piece of jewelry
  7. Bronco Arrived...Dealer wants $15K over MSRP

Carmax has the largest market share of automobiles sale by dealers.
  8. Invitation to Purchase at $10K ADM

They are being honest about what $ they want. I wouldn't buy it, but that's me. I when I was looking to upgrade my Tacoma, I was offered a deal on a used one that was 3k more then when it was new. I declined and was contacted 4 more time by the same salesperson. Just simply told him that if he...
  9. called ford, got interesting answer

At this point and time it makes more sense for the dealer to be more transparent. Ford won't allow you to transfer your order and if you cancel the dealer keeps it and can make whatever changes and consider it an abandoned order. If the dealer only gets 10 allocations a month and has 200 orders...
  10. Update 4/6: Is Lou Fusz Ford Being Shady…

Is the dealership looking at it from a business perspective. If a customer feels they are screwed over( excepting they are not over demanding, which using your own financing is not ) what do they lose. I'm fortunate to have several ford dealers within a radius I'm willing to drive for service...
  11. Update 4/6: Is Lou Fusz Ford Being Shady…

If that happens to me. I'll probaly walk, then blast the dealer on all forums( bronco, maverick, ranger, etc.)along with names of the employees( finance and GM ) that way people that have orders with them will know what they are walking in to and can be prepared.
  12. My unified theory of build priority. (Please prove me wrong)

With out getting into Fords accounting books, it seems to me that a 21' price protected 4 dr Badlands/SAS would still be more profitable than a 22' or 22.5' base/ BB 4dr. Most walk-ins were told about the constraints and ordered accordingly( I didn't, but I'm not the brightest crayon in the box...
  13. Aftermarket OBD?!? Help determining purpose.

My work van has a second OBD pig tailed off of the original, it is to operate the tracking features ( GPS, braking alerts, acceleration, alert, speeding, idle time. ) like what you can get from some insurance companies. I know dealers are adding these monitors to build up the ADM sticker. The...
  14. Are we to assume that dealers primarily want to screw you?

Not all snakes are venomous, but some are. How does the average person treat all snakes. I understand a salesperson getting perturbed about other opinions on their profession, because you're "one of the good ones" which you may be. I encourage you to look around the facility you work at, the...
  15. Are we to assume that dealers primarily want to screw you?

The price of the extended warranty can be negotiated. You can shop reputable companies online and get a base price for the term you want years/mileage and ask the dealer to beat the price. Most dealers always use a third party for their VSCs. If you go outside the dealer, you have to pay out of...
  16. I got lucky...

I ordered in january of 22, because all the Broncos I had seen in person were $50k+. Which put it competing with quite a few other SUVs. It wasn't until I saw a base model on lot at $36k that truly decided to order.
  17. Ford will ship Broncos without chips controlling non-safety critical features

There is no certainty on the situation. It could be a small % of vehicles through out the line up that are able to be sent minus the modules, while the rest continue to sit. If your vehicle shows up at the dealer incomplete, you'll have to choose the bridge you cross. Take it or let the dealer...
  18. Ford will ship Broncos without chips controlling non-safety critical features

Upside People get their broncos with things they can live without( possibly) Dealers have inventory to sell, which can keep people employed More inventory, less likely to get an ADM market adjustment Manufacturer paid service hours for the service department ( keeping people employed)...
