My take as a customer. Ignoring all the forum excitedness about the owner and his vehicle choices.
Their parts are absolute top notch. Their customer service (to some) is not.
You will wait forever, but you will get your parts eventually. It is not a scam business taking money and...
This reads 'college kid that took an Econ course' vibes
IRS will let you Cash Basis until you Gross $25m. That's probably a lion share of vendors here and GAAP wouldn't apply.
When you do cross that, Deferred revenue is then considered working capital.
In either case using that money is...
Took my and my dad about 6 hrs with just as many beers each and inadequate tools. Winch included, but not wired (don't trust myself)
With good tools and less booze bet you it's a 3hr job.
Fitting took the longest, getting bolts in the right order and lined up exactly to my OCD.
Super...
That's not the case anymore. Anyone that ordered is legally entitled to get their money back now they will not be delivered; the purchase contract has been breached.
Whether or not anyone gets money back, or there is any left after lawyers is a different question. You can't say heres a...
No refunds if you got it and hated it.
Taking money, not delivering and not refunding that money is something the FTC would find particularly interesting.
Throw my 2 cents in here.
Have ordered 2 products from AR. Very pleased with both. Had an issue with one after several months and it was resolved promptly. I would order from them again without a doubt
As an anecdote... Have been into 'custom' build parts for a long time and don't feel...
I can't even fathom how many billions of miles are driven on ATs where the parking break is never used.
I'll set mine on an incline but I literally never think about it otherwise, as should all of you lol.
Even if it was better in every way, I absolutely hate the Toyota buying experience.
Hey so that $60k vehicle you want? Luck of the draw if we get one like that. Want to go on a list with 500 other people in the hopes what you want comes in?
Had a look through the comps, More than half (4 comps of 7 provided) are for a 2.3L. The 3 they did provide for the 2.7L, they priced you under, one of which is a 2dr.
So out of 7 comps, 2 they provided are 2.7L 4' Door.
2.7L/4 Door Should be all 7, these are not in short supply anywhere...
I don't think you need anyone but yourself involved at this point, especially at a personal cost. The value is way off. You have local comps on a brand new vehicle, this isn't a rare out of production vehicle that requires an appraisal or expertise with one for sale in the nation.
If you do...
Seems odd.
Never seen an insurance company refuse to use local comps and be so far off too.
Ask for a copy of their valuation report, because it's not going to be difficult to protest it.
FWIW Ex Canadian here. Once got pulled over for this exact thing and was told pretty high correlation to Impaired Drivers and High Beam erraticness.
Figured that made sense, we both went about our evening after.
