Just to be safe and to eliminate another variable, you should take all the panels off and then put them back on. It could be something just slightly pushing on a seal somewhere and just needs to be reseated?
I haven't heard of the sound buffeting noise before. Maybe check all the panels that the latches are fully closed. It wouldn't be the first time that one might have come slightly unlocked and just needs to be fully closed.
I've brought my Bronco in for this issue, they said they fixed it but all they did was add lubricant. Of course the squeak was back a few days later. It's back in right now due to fried alternator getting the shroud/cover installation, and I told them they can't just lubricate it, there must be...
Not sure if someone has already mentioned this, but the Lightning also has a Recall/Hold but due to the brake lights. There are a half-dozen Lightning's at a SMALL local dealership near me because firstly, no one is buying them, but secondly they can't even sell them because parts aren't...
If you haven't bought an A-Pillar light mount already, I have a set of Baja XL-80's mounted on Bodyguard Bumpers light mounts. The Baja's are a perfect fit with the BG's mounts and look really good.
The 4Runner is QUITE a capable vehicle. Yet 99% of them are driven by soccer moms that will never see even a gravel road, let alone a dirt trail or off-roading.
Don't beat yourself up.
Small chip first time, curve of the door near the top - I now have the answers.
Use the rubber things as intended. Then I add some cut-up clean rags and use painters tape to hold them in place where the door starts to curve near the top. No more issues since.
Do you have the remote that came in the EVO 10 box? That looks to be the Bluetooth controller? My local shop also said I needed an additional controller - they just don't know what they're selling us.
The original controller should have a button with a wireless symbol above it?
That, I believe, is the built-in wireless antenne for the built-in wireless capabilities your EVO 10 comes with. No need to buy an extra bluetooth unit. I have the EVO 12. It works wireless straight out of the box.
Stock Sas tires are great for highway driving. If you don't like the ride it's going to be the suspension.
I've said this time and time again and people always laugh but I don't mean it as a joke or a diss. The Bronco is a truck meant for heavy offroading, not a plush cruiser. Maybe you should...
