550miles. 2nd tank of gasā¦.topped off a few times. Random topography. 50% light to light. 25% interstate using cruise as much as possible. Balance rolling Hills.
Never tracked MPG with OEM 18ā.
Swapped tires within first 100m.
It is a brick but have seen claims of 19-20mpg with SAS pkg. Figuring factory SAS tires are more highway tread than Rubitreks.
Economy not priority was just hoping for more than 15.5
2024 OBX non SAS. 3.73 ratio.
Swapped tires to 285/70R17 Falken Rubitrek on OEM 17ā steel.
629 rev 18 OEM off and 632 rev 17ās on.
As close as I could get to 629 trying to keep speedo within 1 mph.
550 miles ..15.8mpg max via
highway with cruise set.
15.4 around town.
Tires dropping mpg...
Had Off-Road Warehouse ordered OE model bumper. Brought bronco in for install.
Received a phone call from front counter at ORW that the bumper is damaged. Luckily technician had not taken OEM bumper off yet. He was smart to view the new bumper before starting the job.
DV8 does a great job...
Hopefully the Ford factory rep is reading this string. At some point you need to offer an option to paint the hardtop body color. Seen a few shows where they sanded down the top, added heavy coat of primer and painted it body color.
Complete transformation of the vehicle.
Possible for 2025?
Been waiting for a dark metallic green but no one brings it back in trucks. Eruption green is ok as long as it isnāt in bright sun.
Went with silver instead. Should have my OBX by the end of this week.
What other payment do you take besides PayPal? Have Outer Banks/plastic coming in. If I can get a bracket from you in the next few weeks Iāll tell them to not mount the factory version. Is it an easy mount on the plastic bumper via a few factory screws?
Anybody used Hooke Road?
good or bad experience.
Curious if the front bumper inlay can be removed to be painted. Lights in the bumper come DOT approved? A cover for the front opening if you donāt have collision mitigation.
ā24 built in early January. Been in shipment status since. Being told it wonāt hit the dealership until mid February. ETA moves out every few days.
I was told these are the four-part numbers needed for Outer Banks OEM plastic bumper to OEM modular bumper swap. Am I missing any parts, possibly need different skid plate? Watched YouTube video but not sure of all parts needed.
Canāt find it now, but there was a note in Facebook on one of the bronco pages of a guy in Fontana California, selling his raptor bumper and shield. He said he had 10,000 miles on it.
Did you mount a license plate on the front? If so, what did you use? Considering same bumper but donāt want to have to bend the DV8 plate bracket so it mounts on the bottom. Drill holes in the powder coat.
Different DV8 question. I know theyāre āOffroad bumpersā but they donāt add a license plate mount to the theyāre simple OE Plus model.
Have to modify their $50.00 plate mount to fit the bottom of the OE. Hopefully it bends in a vice without cracking
Aren't 99% of states requiring a front...
