What ever happened to the 1913 rail they had planned?
I'd like to see a rail with flush mounts along the edges of the dash so there aren't too many obstructions.
Otherwise, nice find, let us know how that works out for you. (y)
The thing I find worth noting is that even with so many restrictions the take rate is 25%.
I'm willing to bet it'd be closer to 50% if it were offered in more configurations.
The only reason I didn't get a manual is because I wanted the Sasquatch and 2.7L engine.
Realistically, I'd say 12 to 18 months is about right.
Edit: Keep in mind, there are folks who ordered on day one, with a day one reservation that still haven't even gotten a VIN assigned or a build date. Ford is converting the majority of those orders to 2022 model year.
Good luck.
To be honest, I can't say with certainty how well it'll work on the Bronco. I know it works well on F-250's though.
That windshield is sitting at 130*, though. It might not be more upright than some other vehicles out there, but it's pretty upright.
I can only speak to how well Maxxion works. Very well.
I have a friend that uses them in West Texas for all of his fleet vehicles. they catch a LOT of rocks out there from semitrucks and equipment trucks.
He was using ClearPlex, but switched and I can't be 100% certain why.
Thanks for the offer! I'm still waiting to see if my Bronco actually manifests too. I have a HunniDo list for the Bronco with about 16 items on it so far. All of which hinge on having the vehicle on hand.
I certainly keep you in mind, though. And I'm bookmarking that post. :D
Makes sense. I was testing out the sound system in a mannequin and it just seemed... lacking. The front facing pods just seem too far away and I couldn't balance it out without it sounding like it was at a -10 or -20 fade. Just came through a little weak.
I'm thinking a custom three way box...
Once you attend the Off-Roadeo, you won't want to cancel your order. You'll just be even more twisted with the waiting. Trust me, those two days of driving haunt my dreams like the Gate Keeper in Ghostbusters.
Alrighty, I was hoping you might have come up with an alternative since the biggest complaint is the location of the pods. But I guess there really aren't many options for alternatives.
