Just installed the driver's side... looks great. I'm having a lot of difficulty getting the expansion screw + nut removed... and somewhat hard to get the one back in that attaches to the mud flap. Does anyone have advice/trick for how to get them out more easily? Mine just turn and never unscrew.
When you say there is a gap due to the crash bar, does it affect the performance/functionality of the front flap? I have Wildtrak Sas, and just ordered these. Wondering if I should hold off for a version without the crash bar? The gap appears to be on the 'inside' of the tire/wheel, so wasn't...
You mentioned "I hope to get a better design for the Molle Grate System For Swing Gate". Wasn't sure if that means you are developing something you think is better than Molle?
@Mabett Couldn't agree more. This is a BIG miss by Ford and hundreds of posts about it. Ideally it needs a flap that does not require drilling in the Sasquatch fender flare and use the existing holes.
This looks workable - can you describe any of the following a bit more:
-Where did you attach the 5th connection on the flare? Did you have to drill/modify the flare?
-What are the spacers you used, and do you have the measurements of those- i.e. are they premade or did you have to make them...
