  1. Lodging recommendations for Austin Off-Rodeo?

Thank you for confirming, that's what I thought! Also need to pay for travel and lodging. But they did lower the price for passengers AND some/most of us have a $250 credit on top of all that to use.
  2. Lodging recommendations for Austin Off-Rodeo?

I've registered and don't have a VIN but they did confirm I have an order with a dealer. Are you saying it won't be free for me unless I have a VIN assigned to my order? I'm code 99 MY22 due to my options and color choices (waiting for green). But I'm waiting for my local Off-Roadeo (Moab) to...
  3. Customer Bronco Incoming!

Thank you for the detail and follow up. I'm a little less mad knowing they're a first night reservation (so am I) but I guess connections really do matter. And dear lord that MSRP....$61k for a Ford....this might be what drives me away in the end.
  4. Customer Bronco Incoming!

Do you know their reservation date and if they were a VIP build? What was the final sticker price on this one? Kinda pissed my build is almost exactly the same (2DR though) and they have a ton of constraints and somehow get theirs as one of the first 25ish?
  5. Bronco Insurance Costs

I have an independent agent that shops for me yearly - auto and home. They know the coverage I want and literally email me in June and tell me what company to use for the next year. They can do all of my claims and customer service as well. Quotes are fast and easy and they've done...
  6. Why Is Ford Still Taking 2021 Reservations?

Using my money to build other peoples Broncos sounds very close to a Ponzi scheme
  7. How important is it to you that this is a Ford product?

Obviously, if anyone else made it then it wouldn't be a Bronco BUT if we're talking about any other manufacturer making a door/top removable 4wd off-road beast? I'd be more or less interested depending on who made it. Toyota or Honda? I'd be in for the long haul and almost nothing would...
  8. A sign of things to come (40.4 Jeep)

And none of it is available on a Jeep 2 door. Fail.
  9. Dealer branding, badges, etc on our Broncos

I just ask them for $7200 off the purchase price of the car for each sticker/plate/badge they put on the car. $100 a month for the life of the loan per ad is my normal advertising rate. That shuts them up pretty quickly.
  10. Stumbled across this on Wrangler Forum..

The very first comment saying the Bronco is too boxy....there's not a single curved line on a Jeep!
  11. 2022 Tundra

Not a great pic but profile view here:
  12. 2022 Tundra

This is a leak, not a render.
  13. “Plastic” Interior

This is exactly what sent me back on the fence when I sat in one a couple weeks ago. The plastic just felt cheap and would have been fine in a $35k Bronco but, as I sat in that one, there was no way I could justify my $60k build.
  14. Jeep offering Gorilla Glass windshields for JL / JT

Gorilla glass is used extensively on phones and covers a wide array of sensors, camera lenses and more. I think it would be fine.
  15. Good bye bronco

When did they announce that they're only making the Bronco for 1 year?
  16. Good bye bronco

Cactus gray is better? Cactuses are green!
  17. Good bye bronco

You better check the roof loading on the new Bronco before committing to a RTT. IIRC it's pretty low, enough that quite a few RTTs with 2 medium-size people would be over the limit.
  18. Good bye bronco

Sounds like smart business to me. And Japan has TONS of space for manufacturers. Look into the Chicken Tax and get back to me on 'fair'.
  19. Good bye bronco

Until the latest generation the Tacoma was made and assembled in the US, since 1995. And some of the latest gen are built in the US but some in Mexico. And Toyota has over 1.5x the number of US employees that Ford does but keep thinking 'buying american' matters.
  20. Good bye bronco

Fair enough, I should get the chance soon at Moab for the Off Roadeo. I didn't take long in the Bronco that day, there was a line of people waiting to see it and I was already pretty disappointed and underwhelmed at that point so I just wanted to leave. But by far it was way more cramped side...
