Agreed. I ordered a 2 door base two years ago & didn't want to spend the money at that point on the Sas upgrade. Little did I know where prices would go. With price protection and 2 order retention rebates applied I'm in for around 32 + tax, but working on a time machine now to get the Sas...
You don't really need the locker. When I'm climbing a steep incline, I just have the passenger jump out and put a stick in the rear wheel through the BD wheel spaces. Every few inches they can add a new stick.
Or you can just spend a few thousand to upgrade.
Nice work. Thanks.
I keep my top off for weeks at a time, so have been working towards something that can get wet. In the garage at night, but weather in the midwest can turn on a dime, so a drenching is inevitable.
The carpet is my final frontier.
I had a stripped bolt on a 2 door hard top, the longer one in the front. The bracket bolted to the top was set back way to far, and the line man put the bolt in on a severe angle to overcome the mis-positioned bracket. Imagine the delay if they had to stop the line to do it right.
Also now...
I'll be getting the 2-door version when available. I have taken my 2-door top on and off alone, and it was pretty much a death wish.
They said 1-2 months.
Is your garage too short for that one to work/store?
Not sure how I missed this thread. No wonder there's no popcorn left at Albertsons.
Just in case BB is monitoring this, not judging any pricing models. Like many others stated, I would have paid $100-$150.
