4D OBX non SAS on rail car in Indiana as of this morning. Next stop Chicago. ETA week of 2/2.

That’s a good point. Although almost every bronco I’ve seen that doesn’t have SAS package has changed out to a larger tire. I’m in the heavy duty truck industry..there’s always a concern about single tires on narrow axles. OEM forces you to spec wide track axle sets so you don’t have issues...

On an OBX…..“Close to stock back spacing” meaning no chassis or suspension mods needed? Just mount the 285/70R 17’s. Always thinking about bump stops. Going with steel 17”. Stock OBX are hideous.

Saw the thread, and had to ask. Revolution question without having to recalibrate. 255 series on OB is 629 revs. Looking to put wider tires on…..revs could be up to 10 revs +\- either way. At what point would I notice speedometer off dramatically? I deal with 4 x 4 and 6 x 6 class 7/8 trucks...

Comes down to dealer having a connection at the railyard. Like anything else if you know somebody they could try to move it out of the yard faster.

Thanks for the info. You’re spot on. Need to make sure the revs are close. I found a 285/70R 17 that’s a few revs off from the stock 255. Shouldn’t be a big deal. Just so hard to find aftermarket steel that look decent.. I’ll keep searching. If not, go OEM. Good to hear there shouldn’t be...
