Unless you go manual... then you control the shift points yourself?
I'm holding out to 22/23 to see if ford will wake up and give us Sasman+v6.
(And i will trade that bronco in for a newer Bronco if ford REALLY wakes up and gives us a v8)
Remember that Bronco concept with the opened up fenders, and the cut out door? Just imagine a garage with bronco parts hanging from all the walls and ceillings... different doors and fenders, tops and grills.... holy shit.
For is literally building us an adult Lego bronco.
Too bad it's HIDEOUS.... I wouldn't be caught dead in that thing. If you gave it to me... I'd sell it and buy a manual bronco 2 with red interior... and invest the rest of my money on bitcoin and etherium.... also beer.
So it definitely seems like there's pros and cons for manual and electronic. What I liked in the video I watched is that they were able to go from fast dessert running (swaybar on) to a slow rock obstacle (SB disconnect) and then when they got back up to speed the SB automatically came back...
Can the manual disconnects disconnect mid-obstacle? That seems to be a pretty nice advantage of the Ford system. (I'm a noob btw, not an expert... just mentioning what I saw in one of the demonstration videos. The jeep drivers in said video seemed pretty excited by that feature)
A few others have already mentioned this, but I really like the idea of creating a load flat floor with a subbox in the bed.
My dream build would be quick disconnect wiring, and to perhaps design some kind of lift system so the entire box can be raised to allow access to the rear underfloor...
That's an interesting idea, but I'm not sure if you'd want the tailgate hanging open while you're winching yourself out of a stuck. Would probably be better to just get one that mounts to the hitch?
Oh is it? I didn't realize. Fords trims are honestly kind of confusing to me. I would have thought being the "do it all" trim would make it the top, most expensive one?
So why is the wildtrak more expensive than the badlands if it has less capability? That doesn't make sense. What does Wildtrak...
I do get that, they want that differentiation... but my problem is what if you want a Bronco to do it all? What if you want the the highspeed wildtrak stuff, AND you want a disconnecting swaybar for occasional rock crawling?
I guess what I would like is a "do-it-all" trim above the wildtrak...
Isn't is wild that massive corporations like Ford can't fix shit like that? Just think how much time they waste fielding calls for cars that are spoken for... but maybe that's just the game. They want you on the phone to try and sell you something else?
Well apparently they can buy and steal votes for AT LEAST 4 more years...
Remember when occupy wallstreet was a thing? Then all of a sudden we found out America was founded on racism, POCs and women discovered they were still systemically oppressed, and instead of Americans uniting against...
