Dealer will probably charge the going labor rate to do it. I'd imagine fellow Bronco owners with Forscan ability won't charge much to get it done for you. That's the difference to me. I think the changes to add the sub are pretty easy to make, so after I get mine installed I'll probably seek...
Quick question for the OGs running around here.
Does anyone know if replacing speakers, adding subwoofer/amp will void warranty or extended warranty?
I just ordered all this stuff and now this popped into my head. 🤷‍♂️
Found the Fusion amp on ebay though a TeamEquip vendor. Another forum user mentioned this. Made offer for $65, accepted, so now I’m getting it shipped from TeamEquip for right at $77. On the official website final price with shipping and tax ends up around $93. I’ll save a few dollars...
Good to know. I know those are easy to get in/out, so I'll see what happens. If I can spread this out into multiple projects, it just means I get some peace/quiet in the garage with a few barley pops more than 1 time. LOL. I can probably spread this out into 3-4 evening projects.
Awesome. Thank you for the info and reply. I'll start with adding the sub/amp, see what I think. If I'm not a fan, I'll do the fronts with base blockers. Do in steps to just see the difference.
Playing catch up and saving threads, but there are so many pages. Would I need base blockers for front 4" and rear 4" speaker replacement? or just the front?
I think I'm going to "upgrade" my 2023 BD with these items too. I'm no audio savant, but I would appreciate a little better sound.
Is it possible to do all the replacement work physically then do the Forscan update after the fact? I don't have that capability, so I'd be looking for a roving...
Yeah. I’m there too. I’ve always wondered if the black trim pieces are the root cause to me not liking the heritage models. If it was old school chrome, i think these would look better to me.
I'm not sure. I haven't seen much discussion about performance of 4A, but I haven't really looked for it either. I imagine the only time I'll have it activated is when it's snowing or raining with standing water. Up to this point I haven't experienced it yet, but imagine my time is coming...
Yep. I'm not a hardcore wheeler and I wanted manual trans, since I haven't had one in nearly 30 years. I want my kids to learn manual and this was my one and only shot at this. My usage will be trail running and fire roads. I'm not the rock crawling type. I leave that for others and watch...
Been that way with BD from the start. It irritated me, but not enough to move up to Badlands. Now having the 24 BB able to get manual with Mid is super irritating. Oh well. Just mind numbing stupidity from Ford in my opinion.
If I were buying a Bronco in 24, I'd be buying a 2dr manual BB with Mid, tow pkg, rear locker, aux switches, and HD mod bumper. $44,340. Done. I'd then be on this forum and FB marketplace finding full bash plates, 2023 BD grille and 2023 BD black steelie takeoffs.
The other option would be...
