Let me go ahead and ask a question that I'm not ashamed of admitting I don't know. Which one is the lowest ratio: 4.46 or 4.7? From what I've been reading, the higher the number, the lower the ratio. Is that right or do I have it backwards?

Nah...you were right. I edited my last post. I've never seen it like that because I always choose the 2.7 engine with the 10-speed automatic. By the time I scroll down further, 4.46 is always selected. But, like I said earlier, you can switch it if you want.

Badlands actually comes stock with 33's and 4.46. Currently, there is no charge to switch from 4.46 to 4.7. It defaults to 4.7 if you upgrade to the Sasquatch package. That's where my dilemma lies. Do I need to upgrade to 4.7 even if I remain on the 33's? Edit: I stand corrected. I guess...

Add me to the list of people trying to figure out whether to choose 4.46 or 4.7 for my Badlands with the stock 33-inch AT tires. I've had different people tell me different things.

That is exactly the advice I needed. Thank you for catching my question. So, along with RPM considerations, will the 4.46 gear ratio give me better gas mileage (in theory) than the 4.7 when using 33s?

Personally...I define overkill as having all of the options you talked about knowing that you may never use them to their potential. Sounds like you and your wife aren't in that category because it looks like the two of you get it in. I, on the other hand, ain't about that life......yet. ;)

To be honest...I'm trying to figure that out. I'm probably gonna have to let it go. I can get over not having a Sport mode way more than I can get over not having everything else I've talked about (ex: 12" screen, signature headlights AND taillights, MGV, etc.).

Not yet...but only because I won't have my down payment available until January. I know what I want...I just would feel more comfortable getting everything in motion once I have that down payment liquid.
