Just adding to the chorus. Got my email today bumping me from 9/27 to 10/25. Have such low expectations that this email was a pleasant surprise. Like others, hope it sticks.

The email I got from Ford on 8/26 notifying me of the 9/27 build week included my VIN. Is that not the case for everyone? Emailed my dealer to ask if the date has shifted and have not gotten a response.

How would I know? I got an email some time ago with a 9/27 date but when I go to the tracking page there is no date referenced.

In New York I would only be charged sales tax for the difference between the trade-in and the new car sales price, so I’d be saving the equivalent of 8.875% (NYC sales tax) on the $28k ($2,485).

11/16 res 3/19 order Early July changed to soft top 9/27 build Big Bend A51 2.3 MT Tow I didn’t expect to get a build date so quickly. I was going to update my order to look exactly like @Cridlon’s but never got around to it. Oh well.

FWIW, 11/16 reservation, 3/19 order, BB 2.3, 7MT, soft top, towing. Got a 9/27 build date. Fingers crossed.
