went to the dealer today to see an explorer that came in with CG and I am now sold on this color.

definitely a good way to save some cash. I think regardless of what color I end up on, I will be buying a painted top when available.

I photoshopped what a painted black top might look like on this and also took a little of the blue out since it is reflecting the sky a bit. I am pretty in to this color all of the sudden. I think I am gonna go look at an explorer tomorrow to see it in person.

yes but it also seems that no 2-dr models get powered seats, so would that negate carpet? That's my question on this whole thing now at least.

Shit, I didn’t even think that if the 2-dr doesn’t get the power seats, does it not get carpet? I really don’t want the cheap looking rubber floors.

Im getting a badlands and quite frankly don’t need the sway bar disconnect. I want the black leather interior and lux package and that’s the only way to get those two things. Steel bumpers are great whether you off road or not. They come in handy big time in accidents. At the end of the day...

Black. I went around the block a few times considering other colors and then finally came back to my original decision. I also don’t mind the yellow badlands accents with the black exterior, so that helps the case even more so.

Yeah crab gray and rapid red are super safe colors you see on like camrys. Pretty sure the “white top” was an experiment where they bleached or did something similar to lighten the MIC and it didn’t go very well.

The trail rig (black) 2-DR seems to sit differently on the 33s. Are the 33 M/Ts that much different or are the people asking if this is lifted higher on to something?

Yes and it mostly works to give you an idea of what the price will be which is what it is supposed to do. Also, if you walk in to your dealer and go to order it, they will tell you the price and you can choose to place it or walk away. Sure, it's nice to know going in but once again the build...

I don't what build and price has to do with ordering. People make WAY too big of a deal out of what is essentially a marketing tool

It's nice as we start to see some of these sort of "everyday" type pictures. Those are 32s on that, right? If so, they look nice and 33s on Badlands will be more than plenty to give it a balanced look...no need for squatch. That will be a nice 2500 saved.
