last weekend NHTSA had only two engine reports for Bronco
- now they have eight (8) Bronco engine reports at NHTSA
Sunday we sent letters to 25 blown engine survivors listed in OP
UPDATE :
These Letters to the 2.7L survivors in OP list, recommending they file w NHTSA -
- Friday we started working this (@VictoryLights , @geoking , & myself)
- yesterday we got em all sent - 25 total - including one over in BN

Good catch - in this MT article you can see the author Justin Banner is trying to help us here - he's coaching us -
A) what really matters is getting these blown engines filed w NHTSA
B) unless they're filed w NHTSA, we're just spinning our wheels here in B6g
C) unless they're filed w NHTSA...
You don't think this Lima Newsletter is big ? isn't this first Ford confirmation of defective valves ? Before this we only had five rumor posts by Jay3630 back in Oct. And hundreds of blown engines w dropped valves, but still wondering if they were really caused by bad springs, or keepers, and...
Years ago worked in three different semiconductor circuit wafer fab operations over few decades. Eventually all three were shipped overseas, and the U.S. operations were shutdown. Maybe that wasn't such a good idea after all

ehhh . . not bad . . . . . I could do better . . . . . lol . ;)
Seriously, it's great to see the issue getting publicity
We are considering contacting the B6g members in this list, and suggesting they file a complaint w NHTSA
NHTSA wouldn't have to actually pick it up as 'recall'.
Just the fact of having dozens of complaints listed in their website would get a lot more attention from many avenues.
So far they...
Much Thanks . . made Edit - at top added "or Replacement Campaign"
- in other places left it as 'recall' - for brevity

Today in B6g tracking we have ebd #25 - 21161
- another ebd in the usual failure range
- 23 of the ebd's are in the...

- discussion forum - try to figure out problems w 2.7L
- warn owners so they can be prepared
Then another major goal - Recall - or Replacement...
- a little further re 'Ford saying nothing so far', but we do have this blurb from Lima Plant - 2021 Newsletter -
"Nano valve supplier issue was resolved with more robust design and material changes at the supplier." - link -

moral of the story:
- never take your rig to the shop looking fresh from the swamp all covered w mud & grass - otherwise you insult the mechanics and the whole Service Dept will take a set against you, looking any excuse to say 'No' and hang you out to dry
- always clean your rig...
We now have two people on their 3rd engine - where 1st replacement failed
- line #18 and line #14
- however, replacement engine not always newer - in line #12 the replacement is 35-days older than original engine
line 18) - 3rd engine
- much thx again @Beach_Bum for heads-up 3rd engine

Yes, & others mentioned, there's a huge difference between that table and these failures we're tracking here. That Top 10 table refers to engine failures over vehicle lifetime - not just the first 3k miles. Someone here said "watch-out Land Rover, we're comin' for you". But presently Bronco may...
Yes, the X-Y plot includes only the 19 engines which we have both mileage and engine build-date - see table in OP
- we still don't have ebd for lines #31, #30, #27 - and others earlier
EDIT-3 Added:
- however, the Histogram on right border includes all 25 of the mileage data we have - not just...
