This is actually what I was talking about. It's available in the Bronco Accessories catalog. Just some peace of mind and maybe one less thing to worry about. ;)
You might want to get a locking pin for your hitch cover. I had a nice bowtie one on my Silverado several years ago and when I caught a guy trying to take it, he said he was "just checking it out".
Thank you for finally saying what's in my head every time I've heard that dude talk. Seems like a nice enough guy, but definitely the stereotypical car salesman.
Yes...all of this. Thanks to everyone here for their insight and for fueling my Bronco addiction. I work from home and I'm pretty sure I spend more time on this forum than not. My wife thinks I'm crazy but that's ok cause I'm here with my Bronco family...albeit sometimes weird and dysfunctional...
The way I see it...if the two VWs below can finish the NORRA 1000 in Baja, then a Base Bronco with some better tires should have no problem wheeling on the beach. I switched from a BD SAS to a BaseSquatch with no regrets.
Please show us in writing where Ford promised the 10R80. I'm always up for a good class action lawsuit. Maybe if we win they'll pay us in FordPass points.
I was able to change my order from a BD SAS to a BaseSquatch just a couple of weeks ago. It took a few days, some persistence plus several texts and emails but the dealer got it done. I told my sales guy that there was communication directly from Ford stating changes could be made and I also...
I changed my order from a 4Dr BD, 2.7, Squatch, Mid package to a 4Dr BaseSquatch, 2.7 and I'm pretty excited about it. I sat down and went over each item of the Mid package and the only thing I might miss is the 'Intelligent Access with Lock/Unlock'. Everything else I don't need or won't use. I...
I'm kind of thinking that's the case. I did some light detective work and couldn't find him as a rep on the DSI website, but his name did pop up on LinkedIn as a territory rep for Polaris/DSI. I know...I'm weird, but it's a slow day at work.
You are correct Sir...we'll get five of the six hero switches on a BaseSquatch. For some reason, it doesn't update the pic when you add SAS on the B&P.
Maybe they're just trying to distract us so we'll just focus on how bad the website is and we'll stop worrying about, you know....the other stuff.
In my opinion, this is one of the big ways Ford messed this whole thing up. Ford did the big reveal, Ford took our $100 for the reservation, Ford sent us emails on said reservation and set up the B&P (which is a pretty nice B&P compared to their other vehicles), Ford let us know when we could...
I don't get it either. Some of my friends and family will drive miles out of the way to save 3-5 cents per gallon. Most of them aren't even saving a dollar per tank. When I tell them they burn most of that savings driving to a further station, they just look at me like I'm crazy. Whatever makes...
