On the Badlands the 10 speed Congress standard with the 4.46 and near identical suspension as the Sasquatch. The only real difference is the bigger tires, slight change in Frank and a >1” lift.
I’m gonna bump this last question. This is going to be my wife’s daily driver and our weekend fun haver. She was a little worried about the size of the squatch package so we split the difference and got the Badlands with the 2.7. But I tested a squatch the other day and I’m having a bit of...
I’m about 200 trucks behind you. Hopefully it’s a moot point and we get through today, but has a shutdown been officially announced? I see it mentioned a lot, but nothing official.
Thanks for the update Zach. My soft top has a built date of tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll be able to see you in a month or so.
By the way, did they ever officially announce the weeks for the scheduled MAP shutdowns?
Is it Official that the plant is closed next week? I’m still hanging in there with a blend date of 8/13, but I’d hate for it to be 90% complete sitting on the for for 2 weeks. Though I guess that is better than sitting in the dirt for a month!
I wouldn't, but I have long been a believer in the "you get more bees with honey, instead of vinegar" approach.
But picture it: you have a build date of 6 weeks ago and have heard nothing from Ford, and not much from the dealer. Then suddenly you see it for sale on the dealers website with a...
I am rooting for you, but if I didn't have a window sticker yet, I'd reach out to the dealer to see if I had been bumped. I have a Friday build date, so I am probably one of the last builds through this week and mine populated over the weekend.
To be fair, I doubt they could come back on him for slander, since technically they are listing it for sale right now. A call or visit should probably have been made before posting, but if you don't know how these work at the dealer level I could see how it looks fishy.
I wouldn’t at all be surprised if people with build weeks scheduled are left out of this one. Whatever it is, shipping a 22 lb. package ain’t cheap. No need to waste that money on people taking delivery soon.
Well I’m finally showing “in production” on the Ford tracker as well. No window sticker yet, but I figure it’ll show on Monday. It’s starting to seem like I may actually get this thing.
So I have never actual checked for a window sticker. I have only ever used the tracker that Ford sent with my original scheduling email. Is that the same thing that everybody is using, or is there another link specific for window stickers. Sadly I am still showing order confirmed on the Ford...
In my opinion this was the best head to head comparison video out there. He made a lot of good points about both vehicles. He seemed fair and contrast about the thinks he likes about the Jeep that other people may not (manual windows, basic sound system, size, etc.). The jeep definitely seems to...
As of last Wednesday I was still confirmed with a build date of 08/13 and have not seen anything from Ford changing that. Has anyone had a build date changed without an email from Ford? I am guessing the good folks at Granger are getting sick or requests at this point. I am just going to assume...
I was originally 7/26 but was bumped to 8/9. As of Wednesday I had a build date of 8/13. All of you guys getting bumped a week made me worried, but still no bad news email from Ford today.
Badlands, 2.7, high package, soft top, reserved 9/11.
