No, I reserved the night it was released and ordered last January when ordering came available The best negotiation I could get was MSRP. They acted like they were doing me a huge favor, so I didn't even bother with trying to sweeten the deal. Showed the finance guy the extended warranty...
Honestly, getting at MSRP seemed like a win in my book, so I was happy to get out of there with just that. Never in a million years did I think I'd pay MSRP, much less think it was a "good deal" because of that.
While I thoroughly dislike it, I've got a startup protocol like I'm flying a jet...manual lights on, turning off parking brake, and disabling the auto start/stop, so it's not as bad. I forget every now and then and the only time it sucks is when you need to pull out quickly and didn't realize...
2-door non-SAS Badlands. It definitely throws rocks from time to time. It sounds like it hits the rock rails though. To be honest, I have not looked too hard for any chips or anything. I'd rather not know at this point.
I'm probably doing 85% city driving. At first I was using premium and then switched back to regular. I personally didn't notice any difference in gas mileage. Last I checked I was averaging 16.5 mpg in normal mode. I have the 2-door 2.7l Badlands. Only negative thing I have to say about it...
If you have been an active member of this forum prior to the orders being placed starting in January, then definitely it's a shame on you situation as it has been discussed quite a bit about agreeing to a price I'm writing. If not, I don't put blame on the buyer in the least.
I'd be willing...
I was going to get some, but then read how forceful you need to be closing the hood, so figured I would hold. I told my son yesterday we haven't even popped the hood yet...might be hamsters on a wheel powering it for all we know!

I had a Wrangler beep at me at a stop light and yell out he loved it. I got out of her to go into a store and some lady was taking a pic of it, with me stepping out, haha.
