  1. New correct dipstick (here's part number) solves 2.7L 7-quarts engine oil capacity / maximum fill amount mystery! 🕵🏻‍♂️

No you are correct from what I can tell through pictures. The F does appear to be the same length as the original just with a redesigned twist location and hatch area.
  2. Bronco Raptor parts and numbers starting to show in catalog system

There’s also a different bezel trim that goes along with the Raptor as well. I imagine it’ll be mostly plug-and-play but you’ll be facing some programming nuances for various things. People have been swapping the digital ones into other vehicles with success. Escape is the most relative...
  3. Bronco Raptor parts and numbers starting to show in catalog system

Strange considering an SX cluster is referred to as full TFT but I could be wrong.
  4. Bronco Raptor parts and numbers starting to show in catalog system

That description sounds correct. Here’s a review model VIN if it helps any 1FMEE5JR9NLA50009
  5. New correct dipstick (here's part number) solves 2.7L 7-quarts engine oil capacity / maximum fill amount mystery! 🕵🏻‍♂️

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t MB3Z-6750-A the one for the 2.3L. Going back to my theory that the intended part was MB3Z-6750-B for the 2.7L but it never actually was provided to any Broncos. And it got replaced with -F because nobody bothered to put it together that nobody got the right one...
  6. New correct dipstick (here's part number) solves 2.7L 7-quarts engine oil capacity / maximum fill amount mystery! 🕵🏻‍♂️

No I doubt it is. It shouldn’t start with FT4Z at all those are for FWD Nano engines from everything I’ve seen. If you are okay risking it you could order it and prove it one way or the other but doesn’t seem like it would be worth it. Unless they created a 7 quart variant just for 2021’s which...
  7. 2021 2.7L Brake Failure

It is all considered one unit Here’s a crude diagram of how the EBB works. The pedal doesn’t link directly to the hydraulic system unless there’s power loss. It’s a rather impressive design. During normal operation you’re actually just pushing against a pedal feel generator which is why there...
  8. Need Window Tinting Advice

I tend to keep my front side windows within a perceptive shade darker than the actual windshield. This helps me out significantly more at night versus when there’s a very sharp contrast between the windshield and the side windows. Your night vision only has to adjust slightly if they’re closer...
  9. New correct dipstick (here's part number) solves 2.7L 7-quarts engine oil capacity / maximum fill amount mystery! 🕵🏻‍♂️

Glad there’s a dealer out there with the care and acknowledgment. Hope a campaign is submitted. This whole thing started back in September so dipsticks crossed it’s done with.
  10. Rear Sway Bar on 2022 4-Door SAS not on 2021 SAS

It has two of the four mounting locations required. As I stated the axle has the mounting locations but the frame doesn’t have them for the end links. A sway bar ties the axle and frame together so you need a mount on each. Like the lower link guards, the sway bar frame mounts are likely welded...
  11. Rear Sway Bar on 2022 4-Door SAS not on 2021 SAS

Thank you. Yes this is what I was told at Ford for the purpose of the sway bar for the Sasquatch package. It approves the installation of the factory roof rack. I think this was a safety compliance thing to get the ratings for roll stability. I also don’t think it can be bolted on directly...
  12. Very rough idle when the AC is on? (video in post)

IAC stands for Idle Air Control and is an older technology. The modern systems of the Bronco don't utilize an IAC. Though I don't really have any further diagnosis for you from a virtual session.
  13. New correct dipstick (here's part number) solves 2.7L 7-quarts engine oil capacity / maximum fill amount mystery! 🕵🏻‍♂️

If you are there I would just have them order the latest revision MB3Z-6750-F and be done with it. Let them at least give you that peace of mind.
  14. Raptor vs Non Raptor Towing Capacity

Good question. I had some stashed somewhere I’ll see if I can find them
  15. Raptor vs Non Raptor Towing Capacity

Mainly it’s the linear anchors they added on to the hitch piece. The frame itself (T6 Gen 2) is more than capable of handling twice the standard Bronco tow rating as it stands. However the draw bar has a reduced amount of linear strength due to how the receiver is mounted (c channel). Can it tow...
  16. Rear AC Relocate

Last I heard Filson was working on a new cover for the back of the center console for adding rear vents to the Bronco. I believe it’s not going to be implemented until the 2025 model refresh however.
  17. In-Use Vehicle Testing Letters

Ford wants to do follow up emissions testing. Roush is their contracted company to procure vehicles. They do this pretty regularly with new vehicle launches. I’m not sure if it’s totally random or falls within a production/supplied parts batch.
  18. UPDATE: Engine Being Replaced AGAIN [Clicking noise in replacement 2.7 engine]

It's just got way too much presence for traditional cam phaser noises but there's a slim chance possibly. I work in powertrain development this is one of the things I have regular experience with. The tone just sounds more like rod knock to me is all. Hard to diagnose over headphones though.
  19. UPDATE: Engine Being Replaced AGAIN [Clicking noise in replacement 2.7 engine]

This sounds nothing like a cam phaser. Sounds like rod Knock for sure, has the cadence of the crank rotation. The only place you should be letting the engine run like this is at the dealership. I would get them to address this asap
  20. FORScan Bronco Working Spreadsheet (double honk, sport mode, chimes, seatbelts, and more!)

It was all experimental I didn't want to submit any changes because there was so many errors still and many modules to change and didn't want to risk anyone bricking something trying to follow me. If I do get around to trying to do it again and succeed I'll post the needed changes.
