Stop it. You’re right, it should’ve been in writing but this is a company he worked at for nearly 20 years. It’s a big middle finger to a former employee with a job which often is extremely frustrating and difficult.
Folks, those of you that were issued VINS in July/August for an August/September build will likely get shifted back as a result of the MIC 2.0 top being brought back online. There are people with June build dates who still do not have their rig. Ford more than likely moved those people back to...
I am in the same boat as you. My build date was 9/14 and I am now 9/24. I hope these hold but wouldn't be surprised to see them kicked back again. Ford's email said they'd be producing hard tops for delivered units and dirt mountain units before they got around to producing brand new rigs with...
I honestly don't know. "water test" could be checking for leaks... or it could be to make sure the edges are properly rolled off so water does not find its way into the honeycomb texture/cardboard on the inside causing the structure to fail.
Ford confirms it will ship new Bronco hardtops, Broncos this week :love:

Ford Motor Co. will start shipping this week thousands of new hardtop roofs to dealers waiting to replace the faulty ones on 2021 Broncos already delivered, the Free Press has learned...
As of last Monday my dealer was showing 9/14 for my build date. So far no window sticker has populated. I am going to give it a few more days before I reach back out to them to see if it moved again.
Did he comment on MIC 2.0 being completed? The latest word was that the tooling wasn't even at the plant yet so this is unexpected news. Also surprised we haven't gotten word of Dirt Mountain broncos getting moved back and forth last week. (unless they are doing that this week)
@Zach@Granger Curious how many more First Editions Granger still has to be scheduled after these 23? I'm trying to determine how many more weeks of First Editions we have to be scheduled until the units with VINS start to see theirs back in line for production.
Great to see but I'm not holding my breath until I see non-FE hardtops start to get rescheduled. Ford has consistently said all First Editions will be built in MY21. Ford could kick these back as the date gets closer or they could be looking at the only option of having to schedule them cause...
I'm in the group that has a VIN that has continuously been kicked due to MIC issues. Based on Ford's recent email it seems that if you have a VIN you are getting a MY21. If you don't have a VIN at this time and you're not a First Edition reservation holder then it's looking like MY22 regardless...
I’ll keep my answer short and sweet.
If this is true then it really shows just how disconnected Ford is from their fanbase. The Stig provided great information and photos that helped me decide what configuration I settled on. Each night my girlfriend and I would review the newest photos and go...
@Nickp
1. Is Ford also addressing the issues with the headliner coming off on the MIC? Many reports of it peeling after a few weeks
2. will the new top be able to handle the Sasquatch package roof rack issue? I heard it was a center of gravity issue that was to be fixed for MY22. However now...
@Nickp As previously asked… PLEASE ask if people with VINs will be able to adjust their order. At this point I’d take a soft top with a prep kit. I’ve had a VIN since May. Don’t want to end up with a last minute MY21 if there are changes coming in MY22 such as the backseat in MGV no longer being...
