That was pretty much my same 2021 order. Same approximate timestamp, changed to Cactus for 22, and went with the full body bash plates and foregoing some other accessories for now.
Neither. Just call it M I C or what it stands for Molded In Color.... Or maybe Molded In Crap, or Minimally Improve Component, or Most Illusive Component (no, I don't mean elusive, although it is a good descriptor too) , or... or.....
What exactly is it about the wildtrak that puts it at low availability.... They don't have enough of the hood decals? Painting the grille and beauty rings is just too much work? They already got rid of the painted door handles and mirror caps. Always amazed........
You are reading correctly. I pulled it from my 2022 reorder, was told it was going to be less than 3% available and of course now know it is just really a clear bra. When I initially ordered it was not apparent what the coverage would be, but for the price worth adding....
Well, my 95 5.8 gets around 12-13mph with far less horses.... but the 32 gallon tank is awesome. New it really did not get much better.
Wifey's XC90 with a 2.0 supercharged turbo 4 cylinder is average 19.4 according to the computer..... took lots of eco driving and road trips to get it from 19.0...
The reality is you are an order number/dealer order number in a database so someone can easily grab your order number by mistake. Of course that means someone with a very similar order to yours wanted to switch from MIC to soft top. Not exactly unusual and to be honest CG badlands are sort of a...
You got a LUX wildtrak delivered, that is a rare bird. Let me guess day 1 reservation holder? The Wildtrak although ordered in large numbers was very small on production numbers, maybe even rarer than an FE.
Can't speak to DFW area specifically, but most of the dealers around the Austin area promised MSRP last year and most that I spoke with are still doing MSRP for 2022. However, most that I spoke with have lots of orders, 100+ to upward of 300 reorders from last year. We are talking about people...
My account has not updated and my account rendering was never accurate to the order, but similar to my original reservation. My 2021 email confirmation of my order was an accurate rendering. I have not received an email confirmation of my 2022 re-order.....
Hmmm, 1 stripped rack.... wow that is real evidence for an issue.... When dozens of these are reported then it might be something to get all up in arms about. That does not mean this should or shouldn't be warrantied. That is a corporate decision overall, but the first line is the dealer, and...
What Dealer? and don't you have 2 reservations/orders, one FE and one wildtrak? I seem to remember a similar discussion way back with some similar details very unhappy like many about the mod tops not happening.
Same here. Most of the wildtraks I've seen get build dates are 7/13 reservations, but not all. Apparently, they jumped the gun little on saying 'all' unscheduled hard tops, except FEs will be pushed to MY22. So it looks like there is some hope, even though at this point most are just give me a...
Yep, looks like they added a plastic finish layer to the main body on the inside of the panels. People complained of loose rough fibers. It would be cool if they could figure out a good method to make it all look more finished and professional.
Lord, cherry pick one Q and A and overreact…. Read the entire letter. It clearly states that FE will be built and shipped. They push only unscheduled MIC tops to MY22. There are countless customers with day 1 and 2 and 3 reservations with no build dates, the true first in first out….. oh well I...
That was exactly it, we needed another baby hauler. She was almost a year old when we picked up the XC90. Her first year was Covid life, so between maternity leave, being a baby (and not taking her around for the first few months), and Covid on top, she only went to her drs appointments. We went...
Maybe, same as you July 14 Badlands reserved (but ordered a Wildtrak). At the time was looking at Defenders and full size Range Rovers. We bought wifey a new car instead, which was going to be a Merc GLS or the Volvo XC90, after testing basically all standard/larger SUVs from top trims, but...
Rear seat AC vents
ventilated seat option
decent leather
get rid of the childish gimmicky easter eggs and bottle opener
Need to add 3-4 more poorly designed grab handles
