Same for me... I went with a WildTrak build [over a Badlands] because things I wanted came standard. However, if MY21 WildTrak MIC top is standard, will we have to modify the order to include the MY22 optional MIC...
Wait, I have an idea... what about the Modular Top that was advertised in...
the included bags are for the "2 front roof panels". Otherwise, if you want the roof panels and doors, it's an add-on option. At least that's how it was when I did my build / price [oh so long ago].
This will be my 3rd Bronco:
1st - 1978 while stationed in Iceland. Was our family "daily driver" and exploring vehicle
2nd - late 80's [heck I can't recall] - Bronco II. Was my work vehicle while working out at White Sands, NM.
3rd - 2021 Wildtrak, 4-door! (hoping for delivery sometime this...
Ponder this [I did :) ]
1. Are people buying the Sport because they believe they are buying the new Bronco?
2. Are people buying the Sport because it just looks good and fits the SUV market segment well?
3. Are people buying the Sport because they've researched it and it's "the" vehicle for them...
I'm notorious for "overbuilding"... I'm of the mindset that I'd rather have it an not [or occasionally] need it, vs. need it and not have it.
So a Wildtrak for a daily driver and weekend warrior for me! :)
This is something I've been contemplating ... because I have lots of time waiting on delivery :)
I've resolved to accepting 50 or fewer miles... beyond that I may actually have a little bit of a fit...
But then, I'll climb in, drive off and forget all about the waiting and all the "stuff"...
What have you got to lose? You'll still have your original bumper should you need it. And on the upside, you could be a pioneer in some cool new stuff.
:LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL::oops::cry:
When I tried to get that type of data from my dealer... I was told, "I don't know.. but we have over 100 reservations that we are processing... but you should get your vehicle in MY21 roleout". [sic]
I've since stopped asking questions and am just waiting on...
I am fortunate enough not to "need" the Bronco [it's more of a want then a need] for transportation. I have a 2006 Honda Civic as an "a to b car". Can't go out an play with it, but can get around. Haven't been on the dirt since last I crashed my CRF450X [which is no longer with me]... so I am...
I intend to purchase a set of take-offs as a spare set for my WIldtrak. Primary purpose is to have 2 different types of tires mounted and be able to swap out as desired. Daily driver vs. weekend playtime.
I think there is definitely a market for them amongst the owner community. From the...
I plan to climb in... find a nearby parking lot... pull the front panels off the roof and head to Daytona Beach for the weekend. Then, after some driving on the beach, where I suspect there will be plenty of Jeeps, head up the coast for a leisurely trip back to Atlanta.
I have such simple...
Nothing...but I've set my expectations to not hear anything until the first vehicles start to get delivered. My build [WildTrak, with tow, and leather] has all the "buzz-words" pointing towards delayed delivery. :-)
