I had a similar problem, including having random unknown caller appear on Carplay when it was working. I hard rebooted the head unit and it has behaved ever since (knock on wood). Hold down the power button and the fast forward button and the head unit will reboot.
CarPlay just quit. Usually it will restart next time I start the Bronco. But it hasn’t today. Additionally, a phantom phone call connects. It can’t be cancelled by either the phone or the car. Anyone else?
I am upgrading to a Braptor this week. Most of my off-roading is more sand and mud driving. I am tempted to do this Off-Rodeo but it doesn’t sound like it will be what I need. Any likelihood of either sand or mudding In the fall?
As a businessman myself, I don’t fault Ford. They are trying to produce a product that is affordable. It would be nice if they still had a loaner program but I understand the competitive nature of the business theft are in.
Bronco died over the weekend. Tommie Vaughn Ford says furl pump. 2.7, 16K miles, 4 door. Fortunately, sitting in Lowe's parking lot. 100+ degree day. Roadside Assistance had to tow it twice. It seems they did not know that the dealership did not accept cars on Sunday! Anyone have an idea...
