Oh I think we will get a 22. They’ll eventually sort it out. Just maddening how they release this “Here. We. Go.” stuff. They won’t change anything. Mainstream media hasn’t caught on, Ford has released enough of a trickle to keep the media positive. I just read a Bloomberg article that contained...
Who knows… there seems to be a lot of random stuff going out. The process seems to be more like a roulette wheel than anything else. We hear about constraints, but then you see a random new delivery with MIC, or with Tow, or with SAS. 2 door seems to be the mythical unicorn right now. Just put a...
Hell, might be true, might not. Might even be from a real source. Even a person with a hugely solid track record, like PremierDrum, seems to get some overly optimistic info sometimes. This could come from that employee who always glories in the worst case scenario. You know they are out there...
I think I hear the sound of a thrown towel in Michigan. If you have a VIN, cross your fingers and hope. If you have a FE with no VIN, cross your fingers and hope. Rest of us will have to party like it’s 2022.
They are still hoping for more 2021's, because they just don't know.. Don't get me wrong, I think communication have been horrible, and it's a botched launch. Don't get me started on all the previous delays. They cannot provide accurate dates right now. I work for a manufacturing company. A big...
This makes sense to me. I think Ford had the right idea to pair the 7 speed with the 2.3 and the auto with the 2.7. Upping the resistances and tire size with Sasquatch package, and sticking with 2.3 seems like a bad idea (sorry man-squatchers)
I always wanted the manual, and therefore will get...
Lol it WILL draw eyes… You do you friend, SEND IT!
Maybe I should get some Oxford White doors for my (alleged) Cyber Orange 2dr Badlands. Or maybe not 🤣 Creamsicle Bronco 🤣🤣🤣
Is that a waver? I think I detect a waver.. Hey Ford, you better get your stuff together quickly. You have even got the Gentleman jumping a little snarky…
For real though, this is getting a bit much. How were they so completely blindsided by this MIC thing?
Yes, I anticipate some announcement of “full go” production. Stay pumped! Oh wait, used that one. Stay tuned! Used that too, dang. Here. We. Go. Again. Hmm not what we’re looking for. Stay classy? Might be trademarked. Let’s just stick with we appreciate your patience and the Broncos are coming...
I was able to see a real life Badlands 4dr the other day, and it does seem to have some impressive skid plates. It was at my dealer, I asked about their dealer demo. He said the demo was “in production” and they expect to see it in 2-3 weeks. So we haven’t even cleared dealer demo builds yet
“Cool! Stay tuned.” Yikes.
To echo an earlier poster, I will just wait and take delivery. I want this truck for many reasons, including sentimental ones. My grandfather was a Ford dealer, and the first memories I have of “driving” (turning the wheel at least) were in a late 70’s Bronco. But...
Lol yep. I also don’t qualify as a “Ford fanboy”, never owned one. I guess it is all about expectations. I do not expect a removable top to be paneled, multi layered, sound deadened (thanks Ford for the free upgrade, didn’t order it) I expect it to keep water out in the unfortunate event it has...
Congratulations, nice Bronco! Thanks for the impressions. The engine thing is interesting. I guess it’s not that important, but still. I just turned 40 and I remember being so proud to flip the hood up on my first truck and show off that Chevy 350 with the big shiny Edelbrock cleaner. And I...
It’s a removable top… if you don’t have a crane in an over height garage, thin and light is good… Sounds like you should have ordered a Defender.
Right! This changing orders and re-allocating must be complete chaos. I am thinking that there will be a lot of build emails sent once this “deadline” to switch to soft top w/kit is met. I did get a chuckle out of Ford “extending” the deadline by a week. Why not, push it back another week or 5...
