10 days of having mine and just hit 1,200 miles (road trip for work account for 950 of those - all highway). Things so far:
Coolant Hose - was touching the idler pulley on arrival - tied back
Top rattle - one of the latches isn't as tight as the other.
Passenger side Seat rattle - seems the...
I wonder if Ford thought about putting red warning decals under the latch handles? If it's unlatched, you can see the warning decal, but when its latched you don't? Simple, easy. And an easy visual reminder when putting the top back together.
Glad I remembered seeing this thread. I enabled Global Close on my 4 Door FE yesterday, but the passenger front wasn't rolling up. The window limit reset fixed it. Passenger rear door was okay though.
At first, I wasn't sure how I'd like the graphics on the FE, however after seeing the white part is reflective, that swayed me a bit in the positive. Crappy photo, but the white stands out.
I am still working on a date. I was caught off guard when my Bronco arrived yesterday, but I hope more people get theirs soon. I still have to get it rigged up the way I want it, but once enough have theirs ready to go, we will set a date.
My dealership charged a $1K ADM, but they disclosed it when I ordered and they put it in writing. Now, for MY22s, it's $3K, but they still disclose it and put it in writing. This actually makes them the cheapest in the area by keeping it to 10% or less of MSRP (some are doing as much as $20K on...
Mine went into production on 10/6. It arrived today. 19 days is a fairly quick turnaround given that I live in NC and the local auto depot railyard services portions of 5 states (TN, WV, VA, NC, and SC). I got really lucky considering everything. But yeah, things are starting to flow. After I...
Mine had the hose actually touching the pulley. Good thing I took zip ties with me to fix it up. Even pointed it out to the dealership before I tied it back so they know to check it. I am a happy camper today :)
Today is a good day. Original ETA was 11/5. Today is 10/25.
Somehow, my Bronco found it's way into my driveway almost a full two weeks earlier than expected!
(Note: its dir-tay! Minimal PDI to take delivery so I gotta wash that bad boy!)
Now, put the Hot Wheels Bronco inside a Maisto Model Bronco, inside the Traxxas RC Bronco, inside the KidTrax Bronco inside the real Bronco... or as best you can with how they would fit together.... That way, We heard you like Broncos, so we put a Bronco inside your Bronco inside your Bronco...
That is messed up, and yeah, shady dealers suck too. I am okay if I get nothing there. But they better give me all my FordPass Points at a minimum, especially the 200K for the top thing.
I saw in another thread that it averages about $200 per customer, but dealers can give more to some and less to others. I intend to ask about it when I get my Bronco (its in transit now), and I am betting they will act surprised or deny it ever existed when I do. We will see in about 13 days.
My Mustang is fun for the short n sporty ride.
My Bronco will be the 'big toy' for the places the Mustang can't go.
The Maverick will be the runabout for errands...
The other ride? It's becoming more and more of a rare bird as time goes by, so it goes nowhere, either, but it does well when it...
Watch those "added fees".
One dealership near me tacks on $900 for "Resist-All Coating" on all vehicles. You can't escape it from their dealership, and because it's a varnish coating when it gets fine scratches, you can't see for squat out the windshield (100% exterior surface coating). And...
1: Ford didn't cancel squat. You have a VIN, so it was in the system.
2: FEs should all be scheduled now, but not all are built. I heard some getting December build weeks. You may not even see a Window Sticker until thanksgiving.
3. The closest you can get to an FE configuration is going to...
From the plan site:
X-plan not available for now (the message remains no matter what zip code you enter). It will probably be that way until they get caught up on orders and have stock starting to sit on lots.
A4re you still getting a Bronco? If so, there's the reason to not get AWD :) At least for me, thats my justification for going Hybrid on the Maverick. For daily stuff, the hybrid makes sense, but the Bronco will be there if I need the extra oomph.
