If you get the Midland GMRS radios that I linked above, you won't need to worry about any of those silly frequencies. The trail leader will just tell you what channel to get on and then you're set....... just sayin'!! :)
I am no radio expert but I went with Midland. Got three radios for $99.99 and they worked perfectly during Bronco Safari.

I've never done these particular trails personally but I've seen images and videos of it online. If you have a trailer that is tailored toward offroading, then the terrain itself would not be an issue. It'd just be some mildly rocky terrain, some steep ups and downs, and a few easy water...

I brought my Bronco in for service at a Ford dealership and picked it up this morning. Now as soon as I get in (before starting the engine) my vehicle I get this lovely message. It goes away after a few seconds and then everything runs as normal.
