I’m on the same boat as others have suggested maybe a 0, -12 offset wheel wrapped in 13.5 wide tire might just do what you’re looking for, but at that point I think you have to worry about the debris the tires will sling up towards the flares and vehicles paint.
OP, I’ve asked about offset compatibility with aftermarket UCAs and have been told
You can run a 0 or -12 offset without issue. I don’t know how useful that information is to you, but I hope it helps.
Interesting that in your original post the 2.25” collar up front and 1.5” rear collar still has that factory rake look where the rear is noticeably higher than the front, but in the more recent pictures it looks like it has that “prerunner stance”, which I honestly prefer. Could it be that the...
When did you place your order? I got mine in 3/20, and I know I’m in for a bit of a wait. I made peace with that when I placed my order. Realistically, I hope I get it late Q4 23 or Q1 24.
Might be a stupid question, but What’s the difference between the r60 and r80? Is it something as minor as the clutch packs? Sorry, I been a GM guy all my life, and this is a little bit of a crash course on Ford for me. Thanks for the info btw!
Yes, an additional 80-90whp on top of the 91/93 octane tunes, but the caveat here is that this is for the 3.5s in the trucks, but I doubt the 3.0s are that far behind…
I’m going to guess the current available tunes were not calibrated with higher ethanol blends because the vehicle isn’t capable of running e85. I hope COBB becomes a player in this because if you make the necessary changes to run e85 the power difference is significant. I know the trucks have...
This is a great thread to give owners and future owners like myself ideas on wheel and tire options. Here are 2 of my personal favorites. The KMC Impact will likely be the wheel I end up using, but the raceline looks amazing too! Kind of torn between the 2!
I’m with you. Initially, I wanted them too but the tuners info saved me 1700 bucks. I could spend that money on something else. Glad the info on this forum helps!
Yeah, that’s the exact same thing I was told. Can the bronco raptor run e85? Does whipple offer an e85 calibration? I know e85 is king when it comes to boost and it’s cheaper than 91 here in CA. Burns faster, but imo, it’s worth the performance gains it provides!
20hp at the crack or wheel? Will you be running a custom exhaust or the magnaflow one? Theirs is nice, but 3500 for it seems pretty steep. I’m looking forward to corsa’s solution.
I talked to a popular tuner online and he advised that Downpipes alone didn’t do much on the f150 raptor with stock turbos, so his guess was that it might be same case on the bronco raptor. Those SPD downpipes give it such an aggressive sound though!
Understandable! I come from the world of being a fan of prerunners/tt’s so I tend to gravitate towards a little bit of squat towards the rear. How’s it ride with the 39’s? Did you see a significant drop in fuel efficiency?
the benefit of going to a boxed or forged uca is the strength. The rod ends and uniball are so much stronger than bushings and ball joint. You sacrifice a little bit of comfort though.
your braptor looks awesome! Curious as to why you went with that perch collar size configuration? I figure folks would want to get rid of the factory rake and go with the 2.25 up front and the 1.5 in the rear. Are you’re running 39s?
