Given what I know where the top 10 dealers allocations fall, I can tell you the info you posted on Avid Ford is not correct. No dealer in the country is getting anywhere close to that many Broncos for 2022.
I don't get how someone would consider a dealer that bought a First Edition as a used vehicle and put it for sale as disgusting. Clearly, the only way a franchised Nissan dealership could get their hands on a First Edition would be to purchase them from the original owner, an auction, etc....I'm...
Price protection is given in the form of a rebate. For my area, the program number is 38406. You put the customer's name and zip code in SMARTVINCENT and it will show you their amount. It's not difficult.
I've seen as many as 20 in a week. This is the most I've seen scheduled at one time.
I have had a lot of walk in orders get scheduled the last couple of months. If you spec one out correctly(meaning soft tops mainly) then you have ridiculous odds of getting your order pulled. I had a handful...
I've paid my customers in multiple ways, in varying amounts to obtain Broncos. I've paid some of them that didn't want to place an order to do so and let us have it. And then I've paid some that decided they didn't want it once it actually came in. I've also bought a few that I paid customers a...
I worked for Ford for a lot of years, and now work for one of the largest Ford dealers in the US. I could share what true costs to the dealer are, and what I know about costs to Ford, but no one would really care if it didn't align with their own narrative. :)
I got $50k of those funds. I've given it to every customer thus far as a reduction in price from MSRP unless they were an a/z plan buyer. Claimed it through co-op and all have been approved and paid so far.
Except no dealer in the country is getting close to 500 Broncos. I find the best model is to sell at MSRP, provide excellent customer service, and not promise a price you cannot deliver within a reasonable amount of time.
I don't put much stock in Tuesday's preview, but nevertheless, I have a total of 9 previewing. Of those, 4 of them are not reservation holders, but regular walk in orders I've taken in the last few weeks. One of them is a Wildtrak soft top I literally put in last night. It's previewing today...
Ask them to print you the "preview" from WBDO. You can print it as many times as you want. That's really what the DORA(dealer order receipt acknowledgement ) is for Broncos since they're ordered in a different system than where a DORA is printed. They can do it either way....maybe they don't...
