  1. Beware: Trail Turn Assist causes axle weld failure that dealer won't warranty!!!

So if the inside rear tire having the brake applied cannot pivot because of an unseen rock, it would seem additional throttle (torque) is applied to complete the pivot. A driver might not be aware of this immovable rock. Are these axles indestructible? Or, are they strong enough? Are these...
  2. Road Trippin' It - For the First and Last Time?

Some good recommendations here that should make for an adventure. Staying off the interstates for Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and northern Georgia will be nice. Another Campellite here. Assigned three times to Fort Campbell-'87, '98, and '02.
  3. New 2023 Wildtrak leaning to one side

Suspecting you could make several measurements comparing left and right to determine what's different. Could even be something like location of the shock mount bracket on the axle. A half inch could be easy to find. Could be that the right side is actually higher.
  4. New 2023 Wildtrak leaning to one side

That plastic flare looks to be riding low. Compare the mount location to a body crease.
  5. Do the gifts stop arriving after you've received your Bronco?

Are these gifts from Ford or your dealer? Anyone get a DSE? (Dry Stick in the Eye!) Eh, old Army humor. 😆
  6. Line-X a MIC top? (To change the color)

Could also do a wrap. Lots of color choices. Change color whenever too.
  7. DONE! I have re-drilled rear shock mount 2” higher, =more clearance and 2” lift.

Get what you are saying; but, not sure anyone would notice how a Bronco is lifted--except another Bronco owner wanting a lift.
  8. Normal knock sensor amount?

Knock counts sound interesting. Compare those counts between low and high octane fuels. Might be able to make a conclusion that your Bronco runs better with fewer knock counts.
  9. "The Wheels are Fallin' off"

The SES light seems unrelated. Sounds like the dealer has a good attitude towards helping you. Why not go back?
  10. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

Fwiw, my former manual 6-speed Frontier was like that. It became routine to go into 2nd before going to 1st gear.
  11. Anyone Ride a Motorcycle?

How about an oak sasquatch? ;) Snapped this yesterday at Lake Malone in Kentucky.
  12. Anyone Ride a Motorcycle?

Was out with my AT a couple of days ago. Went to see this old bridge. Was riding the 300SM the past couple of days. Crossing Drakes Creek.
  13. do B&O 4" speakers need bass blockers?

I'd suspect no bass blocker is needed coming from my car audio experience going back to my Chevy Vans in the 80's. Keep any bass you can get. Bass disappears on the highway--not litterally. Speakers that can actually produce bass sounds are what I want. I'd rather be able to reduce it with...
  14. Windshield wiper issue fixed thanks to @Ford Motor Company

Has anyone checked (or know if dealer techs are) the linkage joints for proper movement? Like being overly tightened. Could be a contributor to the problem. drawing source
  15. When will aftermarket hardtop prices go down?

Most likely have to catch them during a sale. A sale because there is too much stock and/or materials to build are on hand.
  16. Screw in tire can’t be fixed. Use as spare?

Plug it and call it good
  17. Train Derailment in Kentucky with New Ford Vehicles

Happened yesterday afternoon. Looks like Ford, Chevrolet, and Hyundai have new vehicles in the overturned rail cars. In one picture a red Ford Ranger tailgate can be seen. Have to wonder if there is a Bronco or two in one of the rail cars...
  18. HELP!! Didn't get my private cash offer on cancelled order....

You are wanting confirmation your order is cancelled, right? I'm curious if you or anyone else with a Bronco currently on order are actually committed to purchasing the Bronco when it arrives at the dealership.
  19. Towing 5x12 trailer ?

My 5x10 single axle at 2,990lbs currently pulled with my F150 is going to be pulled with my Bronco once I get one. Big deal right? What you have and for the use is fine. Just want to point out smaller single-axle utility trailers with the 3,500lb axles (derated to 2,990 without electric brakes)...
